Who are the people and/or agencies that design weapons for the military?
Does the military have their own individuals who research technology for new potential weapons, or do they buy weapons from an outside source?
Just curious.

Can soldiers request weapons, or are they simply handed out?

Maybe my friends in the military can answer this one. Is there a reason soldiers are not allowed to carry firearms on the military base? Is this just a Fort Hod rule, or does this apply to all military bases?
It seems almost ironic that a military base would be attacked so badly because a "no gun" policy kept the soldiers from being armed, doesn’t it?

hunting rifles im ok with but hand guns and assault rifles are made to kill people. if we stopped making those available to the public i think gun violence would go down. no one is going to walk down the street with a 3 foot manual rifle.

we are ready to start a family and i don’t feel he needs to go because of that and because i am against it. there are good qualities in going regarding education, and finances….but, sending money to take care of a child is not helping raise it. i think there is more to a marriage and family besides providing.

My relative (diseased) had a military issue colt pistol which he kept from WWII, is there any legal way to license it? It has no documentation.
Its a M1911 colt.

Notice I say "military style." This is so that civilian versions like the AR-15 can be included, if you like.
Old or new.
I am also partial to the M1. Love that ”ping!” The M1903, "The weapon of silent death," comes close for me. I take mine out of the safe just to look at it. A Marine and his rifle…

Hey, I need to get a present for a 16-year-old boy who is really into Mustangs, Halo Wars, and the Military channel. He also plays Airsoft and is pretty into computers and other tech stuff. I have zero knowledge of most of these areas, so is there anything someone like that would really appreciate but might not already have? Thanks a lot!

I finally have the money to upgrade the buttsock and the hand guards of my dragunov tiger rifle to the military style. If anyone knows where a set (buttstock and hand guards) is up for sale or if you yourself might have one for sale, plase let me know. I really appreciate it.

Apparenlty a bunch of stolen military hardawe have ended up on the net and are being sold to the highest bidder. Some of those have actually been purchased by countries such as Iran.
