Really what the heck does a citizen need with a machine/submachine gun/assault rifle? I can understand a historical war collecter wanting them but nobody else obviously needs them since we have militay branches and law enforcement to protect us. If Hawkins’ (The Omaha mall shooter) relative didn’t have the AK47 to begin with there probably wouldn’t have as many people killed.

no weapons should be legal for the US military to own, Bottle Rockets, BB guns, Bow & arrows, medeival throwing devices like catapults and trebuchets, low powered rifles(22), shotguns, semi-automatic handguns, high powered hunting rifles, sub-machine guns, assualt rifles/sniper rifles, machine guns, hand grenades, RPG’s, combat vehicles like tanks, scud missiles, fighter jets, chemical and biolotical weapons, nuclear warheads, ultra small and powerful but not yet existent antimatter bombs, or there should be no laws against US military possession of weapons…
You may also argue that I have them in the wrong order if your line can’t be drawn.
I read a lot of comments about "gun nuts" by liberals that basically imply that people who support the right to own a gun are a little bit crazy for doing so.
So do you think society would be better if the govt. confiscated all the weapons held by private citizens and only gave firearms to the police and the military??
I remember watching jarhead , playing CoD, etc. and they all gave different styles of sniping but I was wondering about how complex a shot is and how advanced the rifles are.Oh, and how do spotters get the wind speed and distance??
I see photos of Marines and Soldiers who have Trijicon ACOG’s while others just have iron sights? What determins what Optics you get on your rifle? Do you have to buy them or does the military provide them?
