i personally feel that even though he says its just hand guns and a state option it is still a start to banning them completly. i think i speak for any hunter, gun owner, and veteran that has fought for that right he will have to pry my guns from my cold dead hands

I was wondering if military police were allowed to carry their service weapons (most likely m9 or sig) off duty, off base and concealed the same as federal officers? And if so what are the restrictions?

I am an Air Force ROTC cadet/ college student and I am interested in learning how to shoot… the right way. I’m very familiar with firearms as I have grown up doing lots of hunting but I have never received any formal instruction or lessons.
I have an old Colt AR-15 at my disposal I want to know the best ways to learn about it, train with it, and learn the proper range procedures in hopes I can use it to practice qualifying with it as if it were an M-4. As I am in the Air Force, people know tons about air power but not really anything about marksmanship.
Would it be best if I purchased Marine Corps and Army marksmanship manuals and a Colt factory manual and just try to figure it our on my own or would it be better or even ethical to hire one of the NCOs from the local Marine garrison to tutor me at the local rifle range in his free time? I know the AR-15 is the civilian precursor to the modern M-4, but how similar are they mechanically and performance-wise?
I have never received any formal marksmanship or firearms training EXCEPT for a Hunter Education course.

Some rappers on probation rap about selling drugs, killing people, and having guns, aren’t they admitting guilt?
Also;
My friend goes around lying to girls that he buys illegal military assault rifles and sells drugs- blah blah blah, but in reality he is a wuss and has never even shot a pistol, can’t he be arrested for "admitting" these things?
I don’t get it.

I’m doing a project on the topic of "Guns or Butter" and I want to give points of reference so people can understand what the United States chooses to do. I was easily able to find the military spending for the US in 2009 but manufacturing is a different story as I cannot find it. Thanks for the help!

Well I see this airsoft sniper rifle for only 100, very high fps, seems pretty accurate, and range is 200-250 feet which is probably very good.
Is it good?
Is there any sniper rifles better for the price? Thanks.

I live in Maryland and commute in and out of Baltimore and i would feel a little safer to be able to carry my 1911 for those late nights! I have searched for answers and im not able to get a hold of the local sherrif’s office at this moment. I have not been assualted or any casses on file but the threat is there and pepper spray doesn’t reach as far as a bullet!

Yes, an amendment needs to added to the Constitution prohibiting firearms. Law enforcment and Military should should be the only authorized groups authorized firearms. The 2nd Amendment is outdated and doesn’t take 21st century America into consideration. There are thousands of accidental shootings and deaths resulting from firearms in the home and hunting accidents. People say that if firearms were banned, only criminals would have them. How often does a law abiding citizen take down a criminal due to having a firearm in the house? Extremely rare situations which does not justify the need to maintain a firearm. I am sure you can find another hobby besides shooting innocent animals. There are absolutely no positives to keeping a firearm in the home. Which is more important, your firearm or the possibility of losing your kid due to an accident?

That’s a very small caliber that does not do a whole lot of damage to the target. Why doesn’t the U.S. military uses rifles chambered in something like 30-06 or 7.62×51 NATO (as standard issue for ground infantry units)?
But I heard that 5.56 NATO is designed to maim an enemy soldier not kill him. Why doesn’t the U.S. military use rounds that are one-shot kills, like 30-06

Here’s your proof, America. Not only are we racist to any and all extremes, but we are gun-crazy. I suspect these terrorists are ex-military, by the MO.

I’m making a game and I need three ideas for weapons that might be cool to add to the game. I have already used: M40 Sniper, AK-47, FAMAS, Shotgun, RPG, M16, M9 Pistol, and m249 saw.

I want to get a good airsoft sniper, and have no idea what one to get. Here is what i would like
380-410 FPS (NO HIGHER)
Accurate

under 150 bucks
It would be nice if it came with a bipod, but i dont need one. Please give me a link, and dont even bother answering this if you have an airCRAP (airsplat) rifle in mind
