How many pounds of gear does a grunt go out on patrol with? How many rounds?
Do we have the best service rifle in the world? I am a hunter so I know something about cartridges, is the 5.56mm good enough?
I am trying to go to OCS next year, do you think playing college football (D3) will help with coping with stress, or are the two unrelated?

I find weapons and martial arts interesting. I want to learn combative stuff. Go through training. Learn how to shoot guns and learn martial arts and other things. Besides the Military and Police Department…what other jobs show you this?

My weapon of choice is the Intervention Sniper Rifle, I have unlocked all the Attachments on it:Silencer, Acog, Full Metal Jacket[fmjs], Heart Beat Sensor, Thermal, and Extended Mags. My playing style is I like to Mobile Snipe, I’m not perfect at it yet I have my good games and my bad. What are some good Attachments and tips for Mobile Sniping with the Intervention.

The term ( Keystone Cops ) has since come to be used to criticize any group for its mistakes, particularly if the mistakes happened after a great deal of energy and activity, or if there was a lack of coordination among the members of the group. For example, the attack on Iraq to bring freedom to that country. Here it is 2006 and the USA military is getting a butt whipping by a group of rag tag men with basic weapons. The USA military looks silly as hell. The writing is on the walls so to say. The USA will go down in defeat. Shame is coming like the shame in Vietnam.

They can ride them into battle and the crocodiles will eat the bad guys while the gatling guns shoot a hail of bullets at everyone shooting them and splattering their guts all over the place and the crocodiles eat them and they are covered in spiked helmets and armor with blood and intestines all over them and it is friggin’ sweet and awesome! Why can’t the military do that? Is it that hard to design a saddle to fit a saltwater (estuarine) crocodile?

i have a mauser pro airsoft sniper rifle. i know its probably not possible but is there any way to make it a little more accurate. it doesnt have hop up and its spring. it shoots just a little off so if u can make it more accurate this gun would be deadly

I’m going prestige for the second time and I have completely maxxed out all prestige challenges for the m4 except for the 1000 headshots(I have 500).. Anything but the scar or fal? And possible attatchments too..

I was wondering why the M9 pistol is used sometimes as opposed the standard service rifles–the M4 and M16 series. I see infantrymen, security forces/military police, etc… armed militarymen choosing to put away the rifle and instead use the pistol. The rifles can shoot more than one bullet at a time, if set in the burst or auto mode, and have more powerful ammunition, in addition to more bullets per magazine (20 or 30 vs 15 for the pistol), so in what cases is the M9 considered better than the M4/M16 rifles?

I would like to buy a semi-automatic gun that is similar to the Military 9mm. I all ready have this gun but wanted one that breaks down almost the same way but with more stopping power. Why the 9mm because i know it well. thanks

i was wondering what the job is called where you make weapons.
im not talking about making those little bb guns, but like military stuff.
like designing nuclear bombs, testing out weapons for warfare, designing high tech rifles, how a bullet would travel using speed/ weight, creating new & improved rockets … etc
the job where you would also need to go to college to study physics/ chemistry/ science
kinda like making/ designing new weapon technology

what is this job called?
any specific type of engineering?

I would like to know what is the most powerful pellet rifle or sniper rifle atm is. I am not looking for bb rifles only pellet guns as they are more powerful and can take down rabbits and other small animals.

As a matter of national defense! Not a draft, but a working mandatory law that required defense training that would help curtail street crime and home invasions, that seem to spike in this last decade. When israel was again established in 1948, women and men were in the fields with weapons at their side. The madia failes to report the many times people saved themselves and others with a weapon at their access, a lot of times not even have to use it, or fire upon the bad guys. Let’s face reality, these are perilous times we live in. We were able to take hunting safety courses in school, and bring guns into the shop classes to get practical credit, cleaning and maintaining them. Are we too immature to do this now?

I am joining the National Guard, and I am wondering if I can own an m4 or m16?
Are they more likely to approve my license request because I would be military? Also, would there be any kind of discount to the license fee bacause of this?

For anybody in the National Guard: If I did own one, along with my pistol… Could I use it during shooting drills?

Now, as a bit of an experiment, i’d like to hear your opinion

You are in an urban battle field, a downtown of any major city. Let’s say New York. Big city blocks, tall buildings, and the subway system. Total anarchy is rampant, every man for himself. You are given the choice between 4 sniper rifles. They are as follows:

#1: Karabiner 98k with Zeiss 4x ZF42 scope, chambered in 8mm (7.92x57mm Mauser)

#2: Mosin-Nagant 91/30 with 4x PEM scope, chambered in 7.62x54R

#3: Lee-Enfield SMLE No.1 MK III, (HT) with 4x telescope, chambered in .303 British

#4: Gewehr 43 with 4x ZF 4 scope, chambered in 8mm (7.92x57mm Mauser)

The enemy is an organized force, complete with supply lines and the latest in ceramic body armor. You are given the rifle of your choice, ammuniton is plentiful, and a cleaning kit for your gun of choice. In this urban guerrila war, you are to fight for your life. Please state which one you would choose and give a detailed explaination on why.

I’ll start out. I’d choose the Mosin-Nagant. The cartridge is plenty powerful for shots over 300 yards, and with the scope accurate shots have been recorded up to and beyond the 1000 yard mark. I own and use one today and go with the "use what you know" trick, though the farthest shot I ever got was 445 yards. It, to me, seems like the obvious choice for its reliability, ease of use, and accuracy.
