Most opposing the military and gun rights will come to that fateful day when their lives are being threatened by an outside force. Will they cry for help to have someone with a gun come to protect their lives? I believe so. Thoughts?

In "The Beach", "28 Days Later" and "28 Weeks Later", it seems like the men with guns are always the bad guys. Am I correct in my theory that he makes this a common theme in all of his movies?

There are 180 countries, 7 Billion people (1,6 Billion islamic) on this earth, half of them don’t know, how to survive the next day. What makes anybody think, that terror, as outlet for frustration, could be contained by a couple of guns and tanks. Never, not once in all of human history, has a military solution lasted in any conflict, if the heart of the people wasn’t in it. So, where does the Pentagon get the intelligence, that their big budget actions improve anything? From Korea, Vietnam, Angola, Nigeria, Somalia, liberia, Palestinia, Balkans, Afghanistan, Haiti to Iraq and many more, has any of this conflicts really been solved by the military or despite the military?

Some US tanks are able to operate when underwater to a depth of about 2 meters over the turret, I think, when equipped with a special snorkel device and perhaps a periscope. I saw a half-second video clip of a tank driving underwater once; all I recall is millions of bubbles. How, in fact, is this done? How do they empty the main gun of water when they come up on the opposite bank of the river and have to fire at the enemy?
The idea that the tank operates with water over the turret came from my reading a military specification for a (particular) tank, one that is now long obsolete. The half-second video clip looked like an Abrams, so I assumed that this idea was still being pursued.
I did not assume the tanks could float. (I’d known about the WW2 tanks with inflatable "bloomers", developed to allow LSTs to drop off tanks farther from shore, & the tanks would go like boats until they touched shore. The bloomers tended to burst in use.) I was asking about tanks traveling on the river bottom from riverbank to riverbank.

I love the Mossberg 590, and I was wondering what braches and jobs require use of this gun. Oh, yeah, what jobs and braches require a Barret?

I guess there’s a huge market for killing and death these days. Just give me a gun and tell me who to kill. I’ll do anything for a job. I mean it’s not just a job it’s a career.

I often heard about Russian sending their military to front line with bunches of machine guns behind them. So if anyone who is in the front line turns around, they’ll get mowed down with machine gun.
I’m wondering how do they choose who go to the front line and who will manned the machine gun?
Are those who manned the machine gun lucky one or not?

Koombayaa chanting hippy liberals think the terrorists being held at Guatanamo Bay deserve special treatment, and have the rights of US citizens. Why don’t we just line the terrorists up aganst a wall and shoot them all? They forfeited their right to live the moment they aimed a gun at US troops.

After your service is up and they discharge you, what can you legally keep? I know some people take guns and stuff illegally, but what do they allow you to keep? I know my grandfather (USMC Vietnam K-9 Ret.) has a helmet, Ka-Bar, Boots, his Dress Blues, and probably two duffel bags full of fatigues. Those he may have bought later, but im not entirely sure. But anyways if there are any Vets out there please tell me what you got to keep.
Thanks,
Anthony

Let’s say a police officer drives past a person in the army in full uniform who is under attack by a person wielding a weapon. Will the police officer aid the army man? Will he give the army man a gun if he doesn’t have one already? How does this work?

I want to join the military as an officer. I would like to be able to use my brain (in either engineering or computers) but still be able to fight (ie use a gun/drive a tank, etc.) What jobs out there in the military are like this?

So I keep hearing that there is this website that uses some small camera inside soldiers guns to let people watch the combat shootings in iraq from the soldiers perspective.
What is it and could somebody link me to it?

What is a good, and cheap, riffle that has a newer military look? Have an SKS but want something similar to an AR style gun without the 1200 dollar price tag.

I would like to get into paintball but Im only interested in MilSim because it is more tactical (rather than just run and gun).
How popular is MilSim and is there a lot of events in Southern California?
And do most people use the limited magazines or the huge hoppers? (I am just talking about in MilSim.)

All of our latest technology to them, in this deal. This is to a country of muslims who have said they want to kill us. Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this deal? I want to see our people at work making weapons and we can use the money to send more foreign aid.
But would you sell a gun to a man who has vowed to kill you and your family because you needed the money? Just wondering?
Should we also sell them are old nukes and the missles to deliver them?
