The AK-47 becuase it has a long service time (over 50 years), high innovation, medium accuracy, and had a high fear factor.

The ak 47 will fire no matter how banged up it gets.. It fires better when its filthy. and hardly ever has a misfire or stoppage. The m16 got more Americans killed in Nam due to stoppages at critical moments, then should have been allowed. A weapon that fires with less accuracy is better then one that doesn’t fire at all
