Does any superpatriot/wannabe revolutionary think they can actually take on the government and the US military?
Radical idiots from both sides of the spectrum are now issuing death threats to Congressmen, taking part in vandalism, and there are many that are taking about an impending revolution, which makes me laugh. First off, these heroes have relatively few supporters, while the military has millions available for service. Next, they have crappy rifles and Ford trucks, while the US military has automatic weapons, tanks, missiles, rocket launchers, helicopters, etc. In addition, these aren’t the Patriots of the American Revolution (those men were actually led by intelligent leaders and had the support of foreign powers) or even the Confederates of the Civil War (their leaders were also pretty intelligent and they too had some foreign support because of the cotton industry in the South).
Here is the best case scenario for any rebellion: they have uprising in several cities around the US before they are arrested by the cops and are thrown in prison for at least trying to instigate anarchy and endangering the lives of other Americans and the movements break apart because they realize they are losers and wouldn’t last a second if they were standing in front of an Abrams tank.
I don’t understand all of this violent rubbish coming from anonymous weirdos on the internet or on the phone; they don’t seem to have the balls to put themselves in public, unlike the Patriots of the Revolution. Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington actually had real grievances, along with the other revolutionaries of the time, and they sure as hell weren’t afraid to be public about their beliefs and didn’t threaten other people.
Ron Paul doesn’t even want to associate himself with those people. He is actually a real patriot who doesn’t threaten people like a coward.
Brothers in the Civil War fought against each other, so I am pretty sure there are some servicemen who would take up arms to fight idiots who are threatening their families and innocent Americans.
Okay, I have nothing against the Tea Party movement in itself, as long as it remains peaceful. If its members behave and don’t use violence, they will become more influential.

People like to talk especially on sites like Y/A where most of the people remain anonymous. There is not going to be a revolution for many reasons,no one could plan and pull enough people together to even start to revolt without the government knowing about it. and even if some of the people in the military refused to fight their own people there would still be enough to put down any uprising.. Our firearms are no match for the military weapons so I am sure that a lot of the people would do what I would do, stay home and protect what is mine. If there is going to be a revolution it will have to be at the voting places and the ballot would be our weapon and our vote would be our ammunition.

as a member of the National Guard i will tell you what side i will choose in a heart beat
you can take a guess:D i stay non political in uniform
but you cant just assume the military will automatically come down with a iron fist but it depends you could be right as of today’s situation does not call for violence

So far I have seen no evidence that any of the "violence" has been perpetrated by any real Americans or Conservatives or Tea-Baggers.
In fact, the reports of use of the N word were never proven., only claimed and one reporter confessed he made up the report he gave on television.
The only band words recorded were those that came out of the mouth of Vice President Biden.
Are you sure the reports aren’t either fabricated or possibly being perpetrated by the Left to create useful propaganda?
I’ve been to Tea Parties and saw no violence. I saw orderly people concerned about elected Representatives who ignore the majority of Americans and concerned about loosing their Constitutional Rights.
Some were so concerned about responsible behavior that they carried their own trash bags so they would leave no litter when the event was over.
Isn’t it illegal to use the military against civilians?
(As if that would stop Obama.)

The only thing you can hope for is all the middle class and poor that have children in the armed forces. The children will remember who put a roof over there heads and at least give us a tank yes thank you very much.

Do you know they were massively outnumbered and out supplied? Do you know that they changed the world with true heart and faith in what they believed in? He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
(In my opinion one example of this is Obama believing the constitution needs tweaking, and that excuses should be accepted as a reason to expand on the interpretation of our laws.)
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
(An example would be refusing to make a decision on the surge in Afghanistan causing more deaths to American Soldiers)
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
(Examples are Emanuel threatening people in the showers, or wherever, Obama not letting congress go home to their constituents until he got the vote he wanted, calling private meetings without transparency to bribe elected officials for their votes.)
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
(A loose example is Obama expecting, pressuring and bribing congress to vote for a bill the American people largely do not want knowing many of the elected officials will not be elected again. This congress stands a great chance of being dissolved in the next elections because they did not stand with firmness against Obama’s invasion on the rights of the people.)
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
(An easy example, the health care bill and the IRS to watch over you and fine you if you do not pick a healthcare plan to their liking.)
