I am at level 4 and still on "Following in his Footsteps". Where can I for sure find a sniper rifle? I killed that one guy in Minefield but could not find his body to loot his sniper rifle. Where or how else can I get a sniper rifle rather than random encounters? Oh, I have Xbox 360 version. Thanks.

Ok, this is how i got mine and it is very simple. Ok first go outside of Megaton face the door. Continue along the city to the right. You will normally encounter a few mole rats. You will go along the city and to your right on one of the rocks you will have an open option. Inside is a Sniper Rifle, a Stealth Boy, and i think a Stimpak Im not real sure how to explain how far in it is because i havent played Fallout 3 in awhile because mines broken. If you want a better explanation go to youtube and type in "megaton sniper rifle cache"
