Guns at Military Funeral?

What type of guns are used at a military funeral?
Ok he was in the Army and this was during WWII but he died in 1979.

    usually an M-1 Garand or a modified M-16

    Typically the current issue for the particular branch of service for the individual’s funeral.

    Usually from what Ive seen an M1A or M1 Garand

    I suppose it would depend on whatever time period the funeral is issued in but always rifles

    Modified M16? Modified to what? Do you know anything?
    Probably not.

    We use a standard M16-A2.
    Some details will use an M1 or maybe an M14, though.
