First, most airsoft guns have essentially the same range and accuracy. Sure, things like tightbore barrels and stronger springs can affect the velocity and/or accuracy, but an upgraded sniper isn’t going to be much better than an upgraded rifle.

Second, in response to the person who said "they are also good enough to the point where my friend blind fried it running and hitt [sic] his target", how does that testify to the quality of the gun? Are you implying that you can run and not aim, and a good gun will auto-aim and hit its target without user intervention? Sorry, but that’s just luck on your friend’s part.

My personal suggestion would be to spend your money on a solid AEG. It will be much more versatile, and you will probably enjoy it more than a "sniper" rifle. Hope this helps.

Even though they are "snipers", 50 meters would be great in distance, but thats about the max distance, as for accuracy not so much at that distance, then it also depends on your ammo.

first off props on playing airsoft now depending on how much ur willing to spend they are rather accurate and hurt like hell coming from some one whos been shoot by one before and (they are also good enough to the point where my friend blind fried it running and hitt his target)

You have to be within distance i believe.

My friend has probably one of the worst sniper rifles out there (PSG-1) and had it upgraded to run at 550 fps and a bigger battery bigger motor and everything. with the right scope and wind conditions he can hit a 8 in. grouping at about 150 ft. and you would FEEL IT. that setup cost him about $600 after upgrades and repairs (did not realize that upgraded motor and battery would strip gears) you could find a good one with upgrades for about $300 to $400
