How do you get into being a weapons technician/ weapons adviser behind the scenes of a big hit movie?

I was watching the bonus stuff on Assault on Precinct 13, and saw the bloke in the van with the M4′s, and P226′s, and thought wow this is my kind of job. But I haven’t got the slightest idea how to get into that line of work. I know a lot about the military, and firearms, etc, so I think this would be a good job for me. I live in England. Please, HELP!

You have to be an expert on firearms… be former military.. and KNOW THE DIRECTOR of the film… after that… everything else is easy.
