how does anybody in the military feel about obamas gun policy?

i personally feel that even though he says its just hand guns and a state option it is still a start to banning them completly. i think i speak for any hunter, gun owner, and veteran that has fought for that right he will have to pry my guns from my cold dead hands

i think people should be able to own guns whether they are handguns and for protection, or rifles for hunting(even though i am very stongly against hunting)

I support Obama but this is one view we differ on.

Given the liberal agenda in today’s society, you’ll definitely see more gun control and the 2nd amendment rights trampled upon.

Guns are only tools use to commit crime, just as the automobile is used when a drunk gets behind the wheel and kills someone. If there are any laws to be passed, perhaps there should be some to protect the American citizen from the politicians who have been derelict in their duty (i.e., tougher laws on DWIs, etc). Take a look at the web link below and look at the statistics of homicides. If someone is going to be murdered by a gun, then there is a greater chance the person committing a murder is a friend or spouse of the murdered person. Perhaps law makers should outlaw friendship and marriage to keep people from killing each other; reducing homicides committed via the use of a gun.
