How many semi-automatic rifles have you/will you get before another Assault Weapon Ban?
This is a follow up question to my question about how teed off the liberals are that people are buying up all the assault rifles they can before another ban.
And before I go one, gun owners do have a legitimate worry, as the first thing Bill Clinton did was enact a ban on semi-automatic scary-looking guns, aka "assault rifles".
Are you buying what you can now, before a possible ban?
Here are two links to some seriously cool looking rifles. One is a semi-automatic AK, that is really nice. The other is the semi-automatic version of the military’s new Kriss .45 caliber submachine gun. It is one sweet looking rifle. Definitely a must for any gun collection.

I’m a liberal, and if you want to waste your money on toys then don’t let me stop you. I’ll stick with regular old rifles and handguns. The only thing I’m considering right now is an SPR94.

look the problem is not the weapons but is the sick mentality of the people in Canada there is alot weapons around but nobody is going to kill someone just because your gf kiss another guy

YES , US citizens do need more and more Assault Weapons ,
as in 2-3 years they are going to have a messive CRUSADE.

How many do you need? You can only shoot one at a time, or maybe two if you are Rambo. Of course, you should probably stock up on them so down the road you can trade them for food when this country falls into chaos. Or, when the liberals disband our military and we have to defend our country ourselves. You don’t need a lot of guns, just a lot of ammo.

Dear God, why on earth would anyone need an assault rifle? Unless they are a small penis type sad wanker who needs such a weapon to make themselves feel better.
It isn’t assault weapons that should be banned, it’s the psychos who want to buy them.
Edit to Dan; I wonder if like all the other small dick gun psychos you can provide a valid reason to have a semi automatic weapon other than " I want one, they’re cool"

Well it’s nice to see Republicans wasting their money in this way. I’m sure the sales tax and other corporate taxes on the gun industry will be helpful to the economy that George Bush has left us with. I hope they buy ALL the guns for sale.
Perhaps they would also all go out and buy a brand new Hummer too, so they can store their guns and simultaneously help out the American auto industry.

Criminals have guns that are fully automatic, and illegal. That is their argument. Like making it illegal for a criminal to be a criminal will make a difference in gun control.
The morons hate the people. I hope they are all vegans, if not they are all hypocrites.

At least one. I plan on ordering a .50 Beowulf by the end of the year (scared I might not get it, though, considering it takes at LEAST 18 weeks for them to get to my spot in line since they’re in so much demand and I don’t know when that ban’s coming =(), and might end up picking up a converted SAIGA-12 (shotgun, but still listed as an assault weapon according to the AWB) if I can get the cash. Beowulf is DEFINITELY first priority.
I know it’s not much, but mostly poor at the moment, so it’s all I can afford =P
Thanks so much for the link to the KRISS. I’ve seen it around and thought it was really cool. Had I known they were making legal versions of it I’d have been reading up on it a bit more.

Assault Rifle is a definition. If I were to convert a registered Semi to an auto(AK-47) I wouldn’t have to register it would I?

You should be worried about the people who are buying up the assault rifles. Those are the ones who are the most likely to go out and shoot up a restaurant or a shopping mall because they are pissed off about someone rejecting them or they were recently fired from a job. Not only that, but they are very popular among street gangs and organized drug smuggling groups. You don’t need these weapons for hunting or self-defense. They are intended for military use.
By the way, many liberals are gun owners.

We went to the big Phx gun show last weekend, and they had the biggest turn out ever. 100k people went on Saturday alone, and they expected the same for Sun. We actually sold an assault rifle, because we needed the money. We just got a gun dealer’s license, so we plan on purchasing more in the coming weeks.
So yes, we will be buying as much as possible. It looks like everyone else is doing the same.

I have a SOCOM 16 and a Sig 556 in my immediate future; probably next week.
I already have quite a few so called assault weapons but if they are going to ban them I want more.
I actually would prefer to buy one of the new Ruger 380 pocket pistols for concealed carry but since Obama won the window of opportunity to buy the rifles I want could be closing.
I bet the folks at Bushmaster and other companies love Barrack; he has to be their best salesman.
FYI I drive an H1, a Tahoe and a Corvette; is that a waste of enough money to the libs.
