How to remove cheek rests off airsoft sniper rifles?

Okay I have the airsoft sniper rifle the TSD MK 96. I bought a paintball face mask and have found that it is hard to aim down the sights with a face mask on. (DER) Now I have a dilemma, I would like to know how to take the cheek rest off the sniper rifle and know what good protection would be outside the full face mask realm, or even in it.

Full seal goggles work just fine by themselves. If you’re worried about taking face shots, buy a balaclava. If you don’t know what a balaclava is, imagine a sock that fits over your head with eyes and a mouth hole. There’s a good chance you’ve seen them being worn during the winter.
Rather than modifying the stock on the rifle, which is much more expensive, just take the mask and cut off the section preventing you from getting a cheek weld onto the stock. Glue some cloth to cover the hole if you want. Chances are you’ll also need to remove the visor.
