I have possible military rifle scope. 7/8" dia tube, 14 1/4" long. Only markings-MC 325 B SCR 555 A, any idea

Two mounting rings with four small screws on each. Front ring is fixed, back ring is mounted to tube with three adj set screws.Olive drab color but heavy ( believe brass tube and mounts. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks – Bertman

    It doesnt sound like a rifle scope. Based on your description the only adjustment would be the back ring which wouldnt allow windage AND elevation adjustments.

    It may however be a sighting device for any number of military items, i.e. tracking equipt, aircraft instrument or even radio antennas (SCR usually denotes "Signal Corps Radio")

    Can you describe the reticle? Is there any variable adjustment?

    It might be a sniper rifle with a nice scope and great accuracy.
