In a military showdown could North Korea beat China in an allout war?

August 4th, 2010 by eranio

I know its not likely to happen given their bond..
but North Korea spends more money on their military than any other country (as a percentage) 85% of their economy is spent on their weapons and military.

They have more than 2 million soldiers which is close to what China has. Furthermore… their stupid corrupt leader has done an A+++ job in brainwashing all of his people.

So most likely they will suicide themselves for the sake of appeasing the great leader. Sort of like Jim Jones cult..

    Yes.

China’s power comes from it’s cities, the grand majority of the chinese land-mass is not fortified enough to be considered strategically viable as a position to fight from.

Assuming they don’t just nuke the crap out of each other.

    No.

North Korea, like Iran, are only threats to themselves and their people.

Make no mistake about it, NK is a Chinese proxy.
However, in an all out war against China, bye bye NK.
Edit: I musta missed something Whatchu. Whatchu talking about?

I would think not possible at all but North Korea would make CHINA a instant superpower and if China invaded them and WON they could then bring America and the western world to their knees very quickly….

Maybe the PLA’S 7 million force is 80% paramilitary to control its people and the North Koreans are 70% mechanized with 50,000 type 90 tanks.
