    Ry….NO, quite simply.

Weapons training is extensive and invariably "drilled" into the trainee for it to become "muscle memory".

You are taught first and foremost the weapon itself, its various parts, how it works, how to clean and operate it. Only after you have been drilled essentially in the "dry" use of the weapon, and not until you reach a good level of proficiency, will you move on to be taught how to fire the weapon, and master the skills of marksmanship!

Following that further training may be given to cover other aspects such as "Company/Section Fire or Free Fire", directing fire, ranging/judging distances of tergets etc etc etc. There is a whole lot more to it than you may be aware of!!!!!

They teach you tactics, such as the difference between cover and concealment.

They teach you how to work with others in a coordinated attack.

They do not teach you how to blow things up with "gun powder." (No one has used that crap for decades.)

you don,t seem to know much about the military at all. talk to a recruiter about what you do in the military. i,m not saying join. i,m saying get educated before you speak.

You left out breaking them down, cleaning and lubricating, putting it back together.

How to adjust iron sites/optics/scopes and other accessories.

    How to use magazine loaders.

How to throw a grenade and not kill yourself.

To not stand behind a recoilsless weapon when shouldered by others.

    How to set a Claymore.

    How to ID 40mm grenades.

    How to stay alive!!!
