Is the XM8 rifle commercially available in the USA or is it for military use only?

I was interested in getting one when I saw it on a TV program. I’m not from the USA so I want to know if it is available there. (The XM8 -sniper configuration in particular is what interests me) Any info on its price/ related websites will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The XM8 is nothing more than the modular H&K M36 dressed up in a new outer shell.

The military isn’t even using em as far as I know.The project was scrapped a few years ago.The only ones that exist are prototypes,And they all belong to the military.
