How would I go about shipping a military surplus rifle from Canada to the U.S., I know people that live in Canada could they ship the rifle to me?

The Canadian Postal Service will NOT accept firearms, ammunition, or fireworks, for shipping, at all.
The same goes for UPS and FedEX, and Purolator.
Call the BATF in you State and ASK them for the correct way to do this legally. That is in their mandate.
