military vehicles..weapons replacements? help?

well since theres all this old talk about them replacing the M4/M16 and such…might as well bring up a new one

do any of you military members or anyone think there gunna replace the HMMVW?(humvee)

    Is being currently replaced in Iraq by MRAPs, like the Cougar, which is a smaller cousin of the large Buffalo Anti-IED vehicle; already proven to protect soldiers better than the M1114 Uparmored Humvee. The vehicles are being sent to the field as fast as they can be built; there are only two steel manufacturers that are making armor steel for the DoD, which makes the production of these vehicles slower.

    yes… although I really have no hard proof to show you. They are in process of making a stronger and more durable vehicle, but its still many, many years away.

    eventually they will find something they like better and replace it sure.

    They replaced the Jeep eventually, didn’t they? All good things must come to an end.
