Military weapons contain references to Bible verses. Why do people still deny that the War is a Crusade?

The US military is using weapons that contain references to Bible verses. Yet, the warmongers continue to pretend that their War isn’t a Crusade. Besides the fact that this flagrantly violates that part of the 1st Amendment that has to do with the Separation of Church and State, this also surely is a flagrant violation of the teachings of the Prince of Peace. Jesus taught his followers to "turn the other cheek" and that their loyalty should be to the Kingdom of Heaven, not to the kingdoms of this world.
However, for the heretical form of "Christianity" practiced by the "Christian" Right, the War on Islam is obviously a Crusade. This is just the latest evidence of this fact. The "Christian" Right has certainly perverted Christianity at least as badly as Osama bin Laden has perverted Islam.

Trijicon (they make optics for civilians and military) is a Christian owned company. They put this on all of their optics. It is just an abbreviation after the model number (like JN8:12). 99% of people that own or use these optics would not even know what it was if they were looking at it. To say that this is proof that the current war is a "Crusade" is about the most retarded thing I have ever heard.

because of separation of church and state. plain and simple. yes, it may be de facto that war is still a crusade, as you have pointed out, but the law says it isn’t, so people deny it

it is not a crusade it is a war on terrorism not islam

You sure can weave a whole blanket out of a few pieces of lint laying around. Your premise is reactionary.
Separation of Church & Sate prohibits an "official" state religion. Some company putting half cryptic Bible verse references is hardly the beginning of a "slippery slope".
I see the war as a "Crusade" against people who just want all Westerners (eventually) to submit or die. You’ll "turn the other cheek" right into your grave, with the bunch we are fighting. Try it and get back to me, if you can contact me from the "other " side.

That would be due to the fact that if it really was. I’d be out killing Muslims instead of answering. I just looked at it and came to the conclusion that it’s on there because of some kind of ratio that has to do with the lenses. Because before that has magnification on it.
Also. A Paladin tank is called that because it’s bad ass. Not because some right wing nut job bible beater runs something.

It is a sight, not a weapon.

It is not a crusade. It is a military operation, nothing more. We’re not carrying a cross into battle.

Someone please tell me how a bible reference built in to the serial number on violates "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"???
Is a "weapon sight" a law making a state religion or prohibiting people from practicing a religion of their choosing????
I personally have used the Trijicon ACOGs that the article is referring to and I will attest that they are one of the best optics that money can buy.
