I am new to airsofting and I am looking to get my first gun. I want a sniper rifle for about 0. What do you recommend? I saw a Mauser SR Pro Tactical Sniper Rifle and a UTG L96 on Craigslist for about 0 each. Are either of these guns good? Any advice is much appreciated.

being new to airsoft i would recommend a good aeg, but you want a sniper, so here it is:
i would recommend a jg bar 10. good gun, and there are plenty of upgrades available if you later want some more power.

I agree, I know it maybe temting but snipers are never good for Newbies. Go for a AEG or somekind of automatic. try going to http://www.airsoftmegastore.com or http://www.airsoftgi.com. Any gun above $100 will be good at these stores. Do not go to airsplat.com they rip you off big time
