The 16 and the AK are both just plain loud. They do have a little different sound from a distance though.

The AT-4 is ear-ringing loud, but seriously who cares when you're shooting into a mud building filled with taliban?

I mean honestly, who cares how loud something is when you're in a firefight? Lol..

The sound of a bullet is how fast it's able to escape the muzzle. Faster bullet bullets tend to be louder out a a small bore rifle. 5.56x45 is usually traveling 3,100 fps to 2,900 fps. The 7.62X39 is around 2,100 fps. There are other factor involved such as the muzzle breaks can dissipate the sound even more. MK-19 has a very loud bass sound because of the wider bore.
