Should President Obama abandon the military?

The United States doesn’t need an army, navy, marines, coast guard, etc, etc. It’s just like the 2nd Amendment — these things were implemented by the Founding Fathers over 2 centuries ago! Back then a military and guns were needed, but today we have no need for either.
Think of the money that could be saved — bring home every soldier worldwide! No more Bush wars, Afghanistan wars, etc. The money saved could be used to provide free health care and help us fight global warming.
President Obama is bringing the change that WE THE PEOPLE elected!

yeah good idea, who needs the military, well get rid of it all and before you know it, well either be a part of canada, mexico, cuba, Venezuela and the ussr or all of them at the same time and then some because as soon as were a easy target someones going to be coming for the easy opportunity.
