Be it gas or spring.
The guns I’m considering:
-G22 Gas rifle
-KJW M700 – althought slightly innaccurate
-UTG Shadow Ops Type 96
And we all know the CA M24 is just so rare and unpowerful that it makes no sense to try finding one.
I’m looking for power, accuracy, and stealth, and I keep coming back to the UTG Type 96.

I’m talking about ease of manufacture and disassembly, cost versus performance, and accuracy versus power.

I would like to know what is the best air-soft sniper rifle and assault rifle at the moment. By best I mean good accuracy, fps and if it is automatic or not. Also, the amount that I will be spending is about £200 which is 300$
I won’t be buying two rifles, only one, so please provide information about both types so I could choose
Thanks!

Well I got my UTG Shadow ops sniper rifle not to long ago, I love it so much, I get so many kills with it. But I would like the accuracy to be increased, I’d like to know of a cheap way to increase accuracy, any ideas? (as in cheap I mean keep it at 0 and below)

I just talked to my BRO whose in the USAF and I’m one my I phone and he said that the USAF uses the m16 and so does the marienes but his unit he will use the m4
So is the m4 replacing the m16
He just said the m4 was almost if not the same besides the collapsable stock
How much longer do you think the m4/m16 will be the primary rifles of the US military
which rifle is better all around accuracy range portablity ETC
Thanks

I prefer assault rifles over other types of weapons, but my accuracy isn’t great, so I probably need a gun that has high accuracy. What would you recommend? Is the Enfield good for this? Also, what attachments should I use? Red dot sight? ACOG? Other? Thanks.

My question today is what would be a good Military Nickname for a World War 1 Marine named George MacDonald? Leader of a Squad, to which I’ve yet to put a name, with a unique amount of skill with a rifle. Fought in the Battle of Belleau Forest in France.
I can’t think of anything good for the time period, and I need a good nickname for a character concept for a role-playing game I intend to play. Playing Card Nicknames are out, so please don’t post them, and anything overly offensive will be ignored.
Alot of good answers, and some bad ones too. I would pick a nickname involving accuracy, but there is already a sniper in the group who is not George, so another nickname would be better more then likely. I liked Semperfi and Dead-Eye, but the first just didn’t feel right (other background issues) and the second was just too sniper-like.
Perhaps I should give a bit more info: He’s 32 at the time of the battle, he’s had combat experience PRIOR to the war, he did ridiculously well in boot camp to the disdain of his drill sergeant, he once painted a grenade to look like a baseball to confuse the enemy.

Me and my friends are into airsoft and everybody is getting really good guns, like full metal guns and custom upgraded echo 1′s. I need the best bolt action rifle with dead accuracy and alot of power for under 200 dollars.

My friend and I were watching a biathlon and started to argue about the accuracy of the rifle they used. He said the biathlon sniper rifle at 100 yards is the most accurate sniper in the world. I am convinced that the military has a sniper that is more accurate. They might not mass produce it for battle, but there is no way with our technology that the military hasn’t invented a sniper that at 100 yards is more accurate than a biathlon sniper.
Most military snipers have a MOA of .3, while competitive snipers have a MOA of .1. So most snipers in the military are not as accurate, but I believe that there definitely are some that are more accurate.

I’ve been playing airsoft for 4 years now and consider myself pretty knowledgable on the subject. And I’m looking for a spring sniper with maximum build quality, fps, range, and accuracy. Also I’d like to keep it under 300 dollars.

i have a russian 1943 izzy 91/30 with an EXCELLENT bore, and i was thinking of floating the barrel. at 100yds, i can get1/4in groups, but as i keep shooting, accuracy goes downhill because the barrel heats up too much. this is one reason i want to float the barrel, so the heat MAY not build up as quickly. also, i have heard that since there is less stress on the barrel when it is floated, accuracy goes up quite a bit. anyone have any experince with this, and if so any suggestions on the proper way to float the barrel would be great. thanks!!!
also, i know the mosin nagant is a military rifle, thus i do not expect bullseye accuracy at 200+ yds, i am just in love with these rifles and i know that modern rifles are more accurate, but i want to try and make the mosin as accurate as possible.

my m324 airsoft sniper is inconsistent when it comes to accuracy, is this because of the temperature? It is usually very cold where i live.

Im interested in buying an AR15 or M4. I’ll target shoot with it (not competitivley) and probably wont use it to defend the home (got the Mossberg 500 for that
but its one of those gotta have guns and im looking for a rifle in .223 anyway, so might as well consider these. Theres so many variations, but im looking for one of the ones thats clean and generic of a military version. Im not really looking for an all out custom crazy look that some of the upper end ones have that end up costing 1500- infinity dollars. I know i can expect less accuracy farther out with the M4, but personally, I like the way to looks…….Any thoughts opinions on different makers, what company to stay away from, which to buy from etc etc. Half of the fun in buying a new gun is researching and learning something of what everyone else knows. Thanks for any serious input, anyone who says get the AK47 you’re truly worthless.

a lot of new military rifles are now placing the magazine behind the trigger in or near the stock, to lengthen the barrel and improve accuracy while not making the weapon longer in the process.
is there any disadvantage to doing this, besides any possible awkward reloading? also is there any advantage besides the above mentioned?
and as a side note, is any new info on what the m16 family will be replaced with?
nice replies, so not thinking a replacement any time soon huh? im a bit surprised, though i always knew that the m16′s were underrated by alotta people.

I love my rifle, (one the best military rifles for accuracy and you can scope it)….Anyway, Does anyone know where I can find an aftermarket stock, or another 6 round magazine, or better yet, an extended magazine for it? oh, is there any ammo I can use in place of the the swiss 7.62×55. (something that is cheaper?)
Thanx!
