Why do Americans think Money, Military & Terror is the way to solve every foreign issue?

March 14th, 2011 by eranio

Wake up, its not. Its what we do now and it doesn’t work. As long as you terrorize one group another group will want to bring you down. Eventually others will join & it’ll lead to a massive war, which in the day of nuclear weapons will only be a lost war for any side.

McCain – ‘we don’t negotiate with terrorists’

Trigger happy SOB.

Airsoft Sniper Rifles?

March 4th, 2011 by eranio

I am trying to determine which Airsoft Sniper Rifle to buy. To me it doesn’t matter about the price but which gun works the most efficiently and is the most durable. I plan to mod them in the future too. I have read reviews on both guns and it seems like they get good and bad reviews. These guns I am most interested in are from Evike.com. I am looking for someone who owns or has used the exact gun to give me some advice. The guns I am looking at are:

The Matrix/Well MB06 Shadow Op bolt action sniper w/ bipod and LE stock (I added on the Scope that is available through Evike.com

http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_48&products_id=32295

The UTG/CSI/TSD Type96 Shadow Ops APS2 Airsoft Sniper Rifle- OD (With the scope+bipod package thing available through Evike.com

http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_48&products_id=27711

Thanks

Are the FN Herstal P90 and F2000 ever used by US military forces anywhere?

February 22nd, 2011 by eranio

I think the guns are technologically advanced, and in the case of the F2000, greatly superior to the M4′s currently jamming on our troops in their fight for civility in the middle east. The F2000 is a 5.56 chambered weapon, that has a longer barrel than the M4, but is much shorter. It uses M16 magazines, so it would fit right in with current weapons.

Or, thanks to the way the contracts work, is there no way for troops to recquisition their commanders to let them have better guns, even if they paid out of pocket for them? I’d consider my rifle worth investing in.

I have seen group photos of guys in my recruiter’s office that have weapons that i doubt are commonly issued. And it was the recruiter in the photos, not just a generic promotional photo.

I know SF are well known for giving the military beaurocrats the finger, and using whatever guns they feel best get the job done (H&K’s SCAR-L). Are they the only guys that get a choice in guns?

I’ll be doing 89D EOD in the Army, btw.

What do you think will Be Obama Military Policy If Elected?

February 5th, 2011 by eranio

Barack Obama offered his insights into his military policy in the middle of a war — cut everything that might make us secure. He’ll cut missile defense, new weapons systems, and just about everything he can:

Does any body think this is a good idea?

Tranquilizer Rounds?

January 2nd, 2011 by eranio

Do Tranquilizer Rounds exist for use in regular or slightly modified firearms? It is for Law Enforcement/Military applications (possibly hunting). I need to know and what guns have special tranquilizer rounds/which guns can be modified for using tranquilizer rounds. I would like to have detailed information (pictures & diagrams of the round(s) and or the gun(s) that use tranquilizing agents) but anything that can help would be useful.

What kind of mother buys her 14 y/o son a 9mm assault rifle?

January 2nd, 2011 by eranio

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071012/ap_on_re_us/student_arsenal_5

lock her up too.
I see we have a couple of yahoos who think I am anti-gun. Not the case, I have about a dozen guns, rifles, shotguns, pistols. And I got my 1st gun at 10 or 11 yrs or so. Sorry to sink your boat. We’re talking a 9mm assault rifle, not a .22 or a .410, which is what a 14 y/o may be responsible enough to handle. Take a look at the cache they found in his bedroom. You gonna tell me mama didn’t know that stuff was there? And what did she thin he was going to do with it? A 14 y/o DOES NOT need that kind of stuff, period. Anyone who would argue that his is an ok situation is either really out of touch with reality or just arguing to be a smartass.
oh, yes, I am a parent, to a 14 y/o & a 17 y/o. Both know how to hangle a weapon, but have access to light firearms, when I unlock the cabinet.

Can you put gun accessories on a Blue Gun?

December 12th, 2010 by eranio

http://www.copsplus.com/ringsblueguns.php

If anyone is familiar with these replica firearms (used for training in military and police force exercises) I was wondering If you could use accessories made for the gun (IE flash light/laser site for the pistols, red dot sites for the rifles, etc) on the Blue Gun replica.
They say that the blue gun replica is made to be the exact size weight and dimensions as the real gun, just made of a different material (and obviously not a REAL gun)

I ask because I want to get a blue gun and paint it for a costume, but to do the costume properly, I need the gun to have a laser site mounted underneath the Barrel.

The gun: H&K Mark 23 SOCOM

http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum3832.php

Yes or no basically?
Because if so, i want to put a REAL laser site, if not… I guess ill fashion one for aesthetics…

Why do people want the Military immediately deployed to AZ for one case that is still under investigation?

November 26th, 2010 by eranio

This question is referring to the AZ Rancher shot & killed by the border. They haven’t arrested anybody, they have no leads, no witnesses but people are quick to say that it was an illegal Mexican, and then want the Military deployed for one case that is still open. Do they not know, or want you to forget what happened the last time we had Military at the border? An 18-year old boy was shot and killed while herding his sheep.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,64092,00.html

– On May 20, 1997, Esquiel Hernandez was herding sheep on his family’s farm just inside the U.S.-Mexican border in Redford, Texas. U.S. Marines patrolling the border for drug smugglers spied Hernandez and his pre-World War I rifle (which he used for scaring off wild animals) and shot him in the back, killing him. Hernandez had no drugs on him.

Why does the USA need large military bases in Japan?

November 18th, 2010 by eranio

We have large bases in Japan and for what? Go ahead all of you experts explain, please.

Japan has weapons for self defense and a military.
Just purchased f-22 from USA.

Korea? What is the USA going to do if Korea does bomb Japan? Send in troops. We have bases in Korea.

We have wholes families in foreign countries that we are paying to support their living there, why?

These bases are full of things such as golf courses, fine dinning, movies, bowling, private marinas and the list goes on.
Yes, I have been to some of the bases, sweetie. Seems like you have not.

Yes, that is part of my problem. Yolu having so such on the bases and I am helping to pay for it, hello.

China & Korea, so what? we are going to invade with troops? If either one attacks Japan, it will be with missiles, hello.

Japan is in the process of changing the laws on self defense, before replying get some information and then reply.
We don’t need families overseas which we are paying to move there, live there, and have children there. When you join the military, just like becoming a policemen or teacher, you know the pay is low and you have a different lifestyle than a person in the civilian sector.
What the main subject is here is spending, the military budget and having an accounting done to see exactly what we are paying for. in 2005 we paid 11 million dollars for a center on Okinawa, Japan and in 2015 we are all but suppose to be gone from there, with very little left in personnel. People go to the eb site for these bases and have a look at what they have and what we are paying for, besides housing, child care and education for the children overseas. The biggest slice of the taxes goes to the military, hello.
