If the EU place a weapons embargo on a country does that mean sending soldiers aswell?

August 30th, 2010 by eranio

I’m doing a presentation about the EU and I need to know certain things they’ve done recently and how they’ll affect the UK’s public services I.e the police armed forces. does a weapons embargo mean sending in any form of military?

How does the Israeli military operate on Saturdays (the day of the Shabbat)?

June 7th, 2010 by eranio

Of course, with any armed forces, you’ll have high-tech equipment such as anti-aircraft systems, tanks, machine guns, etc. In Israel, is it implied or understood that soldiers have to break the commandment (and not keep Shabbat) as long as they’re in service?

Do You Think College Students Should Be Allowed To Carry Concealed Firearms On Campus?

May 19th, 2010 by eranio

I know this isn’t a military question but I figured that those in the armed forces are familiar with firearms.
Whether or not you have a gun carrying license most college campuses ban all firearms.

Do you think that students with the proper license and qualifications should be allowed to carry their guns on campus? If they can get a gun permit (which are not easy to come by in some states) should they be allowed to carry on campus since they are allowed to carry them on their person elsewhere?

Do you honestly see more or less problems arising if college students were to be allowed to carry concealed firearms?

Why do liberals say that we have socialized military protection?

March 17th, 2010 by eranio

I don’t get it. If this is true, and I hope that it is not because I love our Armed Forces dearly and pray for them, then shouldn’t we just give a tax credit for every American who buys a Howitzer and an AR-15 rifle so that we can just defend ourselves against attack?

Where's the question from the 13 year old asking about jobs without GCSEs,interested in the military?

March 1st, 2010 by eranio

Just now there was a boy asking if he had to have gcses to get a job, or what jobs he could do without gcses; said he was interested in firearms and the military, called himself dumb. He had some rubbish answers. I looked it up for him and now I’ve lost the question! If you see this, you CAN join the armed forces without qualifications, and they train you. That’s always been a feature of their recruitment ads. So for instance the person who said you had to have a driving licence to be a driver in the army is wrong; you can join the army and then get your driving qualification. Look on www.army.mod.uk There’s also some Connexions information sheets on all the armed forces and the police. If you don’t know about Connexions, google it, it might be quite useful.
ATM – oh thanks!!

Does the 2nd Amendment apply to Military only?

January 16th, 2010 by eranio

Many people say the firearms are guaranteed for the military only.

Do you really think the Founding Fathers were so stupid that they would make a statement in the 2nd Amendment to the effect that they are saying," A Military can be Armed"? How stupid does that sound?
Alex….You must be a liberal…nit picking at the most minute details. Semantics.
The Militia and the Military have the same ends in mind. They are both Armed Forces.

can you choose equipment in the military?

December 28th, 2009 by eranio

i keep hearing stuff like you can choose what weapon you use or that you can use your own firearms or scopes or whatever you want in certain parts of the military like S.E.A.L.s or rangers or whatever, i think most of it is probably bull but is any of it true? is there any part of the armed forces where you can choose stuff like that?

obama guns and military?

December 15th, 2009 by eranio

ive seen this on several news shows and from what im getting out of it hes going to make it harder for regular civilians to get guns and raise the taxes on them i think 500% if not banning them altogether. i also heard one of them mention hes planning on cutting the military funding down by a 1/4. hows that possible when we are getting a 3.5% pay raise in january and over 27,000 marines and double army is due to go overseas
with the guns the news said he only supported concealed carry for retired police, what about military we are trained 200% better in the use of firearms of all types than police. what about people who own assault rifles, like myself.
if he cuts the military funding hows that going to affect people like me who served in the military for 10 years and plan on retiring from the armed forces, in my case the marines.
