All you need is 4 or 5 people with rifles or rapid fire assualt rifles, to aim directly in front of the plane and put up a wall of bullets it has to fly through? Since the army denies theyre military planes why not shoot em down?
Who said anything about crop dusters?

I am 20 junior in college majoring in biology. Recently I was made aware of the opportunities and things in the military. (I thought everyone just dealt with guns) but it’s a whole world of opportunities and career possibilities that i didnt know of. Obviously, I don’t want to handle guns, at all! I want to work in biology( particularly forensics, but i don’t know if that’ll be available). so what are some of the experiences stories or opinions do you have about the military??? What branch( Air, navy, army is the best for you)

The army said it to expansive which is BS since they have the money for other programs. Protect the People with the Best.
proud to be in the USA baby!!!!
Past the word
21 Rounds 7.62x39mm FMJ military ball ammo fired at 20 feet from AK-47/AKM-variant rifle, and 120 rounds 9mm FMJ military ball ammo fired at 10 feet from Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun. and it did not past thur the body armor!!!!!!
There only a few folks waring it but I feel the troop in the field not just SP folks should have this type of protection

In the era of the first troops with firearms such as muskets did they really affront themselves on open fields remaining in formation as chess pieces and getting killed until one army retreats. If so why did they use such stupid tactics? Couldn’t they instruct them to spread and take cover or set up an ambush in a forest? To me this tactics seem very stupid!

i want to join the army but im 35 lbs overweight and i don’t like working out, i hate working out.
why does every soldier have to be fit, can’t they put guys like me in a tank, driving trucks around or in trench with a rifle somewhere. it doesn’t take a six pack to shoot a gun.
maybe they would meet the recruitment goals if they weren’t so picky.

Hey people. It would be very thankful of you if you answer my question really quickly because I want to go to bed. Anyways, the reason im asking this question is because im going on a field trip there and my brother told me that it was boring. He didn’t remember what he did there but he did remember that it was boring. I’m just thinking that its this army thing and they show you guns and stuff like that. Thank you. Bye:

When I was in Iraq, we had some Navy personel that had never fired a rifle in their life, and the Marines of other Navy people had to show them how to use them. I believe that all branches need to qualify all personel on the M-16A2 and the M-9. The Marines and Army are required to qualify on the basic infantry/ riflemen weapons, such as the M-16, SAW, M-60, M-203 grenade launcher, laws rocket (forgive me if they no longer use the LAWS rocket), claymore mine, and a few others I have forgotten about. The other branches should be required to qualify o the m-16 and M-9 and familiarized with the same weapons that the above mentioned are used by the Marines and Army on a regular basis. What do you think?

I’m joining the military soon, but I’ve always wanted to, and now with war going on. I want to more, because I love guns and physical training. I want to be strong and serve the country to it’s fullest. So, should we force teens into the army?

What gun is you’re first when you join the army or marines when you’re deployed? Do you get to pick between m16, m4 or m249

Ronald Gene Simmons (-25 June 1990) was a retired United States Air Force sergeant who killed sixteen people, 14 of whom were members of his family, and wounded three others…….**Another one also did this:….**

String Of Serial Killers
By Doug Saunders
Toronto Globe & Mail
Some time after he was discharged from the army, his life turned sour, he got angry and delusional and he snapped. Wielding his gun in a suburban neighbourhood, he killed again and again: women, children, complete strangers, with military precision but without an evident motive…
This describes what police say about John Allen Muhammad, who was arrested yesterday in the Washington sniper-killing rampage.
There must be a reason. Anyone know?

Before you gun worshiping nut bags jump my case let me just point out that I’m not against owning guns, or taking away the Second Amendment. Just wondering what would a normal civilian need an automatic military gun for?
Croaker…..Are you defending your home against an army of thieves?
It’s supposed to read "SEMI AUTOMATIC". Sorry for missing the "SEMI" in the details.

Army Reservist Killed By Police After Standoff.
Leonardtown, MD A man who authorities believe was an Army Reservist just called up to serve in Iraq has been fatally shot by police in a standoff that began on Christmas.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff Tim Cameron says 28-year-old James Emerick Dean, in the military, was shot by a sheriff’s deputy Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff says Dean had pointed a gun at a tactical team that was about to use gas to try to force him out of his father’s house. The military man did not want to go back to Iraq. He served in Iraq in the year 2005.
The family told authorities that Dean was despondent about recent orders for him to go to Iraq. Dean had returned in 2005 from a year and a half long tour in Afghanistan.

Two part question…
What do you think the next rifle the US Military will use will be?
And, why is it that the Army gets newer equipment before the Marines?

was looking for something not overly bulky and with the look and feel of an m4. i am new to hunting and am in the army, wanted something thats similar to what i work with so that i can practice at the range and hunt with the same weapon as well. i figure the more closely it resembles an m4 the better off i will be. is it an appropriate weapon for hunting deer or boar. i am also interested in the .450 by bushmaster as it has a similar look and feel to the m4 could you tell me the difference in range stopping power and what would be the best. thanx el hefe

I am only 18 years old, so i don’t know much about the requirements. I want to become a good shot before I join the Army.
Could you please tell me if this is possible and all the procedures I will have to go through?
I thank the person who spends the time to tell me everything I need to know. Thank you very much.
Explain what I can get that is close if I can’t.

"We need an organized army to fight a war unless its on are shores, then all bets are off and shoot them all."
Jay that is what a citzen milita does, it only repels invasions.
Desert, the Supreme Court has ruled that gun bans are unconstitutional and Americans did win the Revoultionary war with private citizens fighting (not alone of course and I never impied this).

I’ve heard that it’s less than half. You’d think that these people who love guns so much would jump at the chance to use the Army’s sophisticated weapons.
