What was your worst vacation ever?

September 4th, 2010 by eranio

It’d have to be Trinidad. The cops were nowhere to be found, the streets were full of crazy drivers, kidnappings were through the roof, the cops and military would stand together on the street with assault rifles, bodyguards for government ministers would go to malls armed with assault rifles and the place was DIRTY. I got the feeling it was an exciting place…just that you probably didn’t want to be around when the fireworks started.

I thanked god when my plane left that country.

If they could make a sub-machine mp40, why not an assault rifle?

August 30th, 2010 by eranio

Germany could produce the MP40 in WWII. So why didn’t they replace the 9mm with, say the more powerful 7.62mm, to use in combat fields? Isn’t sub-machine and assault rifles are of the same configuration, just with different cartridges?

Officially unemployment is 10.2%, but many are working underground. What is the real rate?

August 29th, 2010 by eranio

There are millions out there selling dope and weapons in the black market, and making a lot of money out of it.

A single guy trading in assault rifles and military grade explosives has a staff of over a dozen people (contacts, smaller dealers, folks advertising in shows, etc.).

When to use an LMG opposed to an Assault Rifle in MW2?

August 18th, 2010 by eranio

I love both Light Machine Guns and Assault Rifles, but I’m not sure when I should use one over the other for optimum performance. Is one better than the other for certain maps or situations or what? Any help is appreciated
I’m talking about just regular matches not hardcore

Whats the best assault rifle in MW2?

August 10th, 2010 by eranio

I really like the ACR because of its amazing accuracy, but I find that it doesn’t deal out as much damage as some of the other assault rifles. So, what rifle is the best all around, with good accuracy and damage.

Do you think its time to send Military to the Mexico border? Border drug wars threaten U.S. ?

August 9th, 2010 by eranio

Do we need the military and a big 80 foot deep and 100 feet high fence? This is dangerous and they do means us harm ."They’ve got weapons, high-tech radios, computers, cell phones, Global Positioning Systems, spotters, and can react faster than we are able to," Mr. Moran said. "And they have no hesitancy to attack the agents on the line, with anything from assault rifles and improvised Molotov cocktails to rocks, concrete slabs and bottles. There are so many agent ‘rockings’ that few are even reported anymore. If we wrote them all up, that’s all we would be doing."

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the investigative arm of Homeland Security, said in a report this year that the drug gangs were becoming increasingly ruthless against rivals, and also were targeting federal, state and local police. ICE said violence on the border has been rising dramatically over the past three years in what it called "an unprecedented surge."

During a January raid on a gang operation in Laredo, Texas, an ICE-led task force of federal agents seized two completed improvised explosive devices, materials for making 33 more devices, 300 primers, 1,280 rounds of ammunition, five grenades, nine pipes with end caps, 26 grenade triggers (14 with fuses and primers attached), 31 grenade spoons, 40 grenade pins, 19 black powder casings, a silencer and cash.

Does the CA guns laws violate our 2nd amendment rights?

July 31st, 2010 by eranio

I read somewhere that the founding fathers actually wanted citizens to have military grade weapons. CA laws do not let us have a clip that holds over 10 rounds and no assault rifles.

Has the US Military considered selling AKM parts kits?

July 30th, 2010 by eranio

A lot of old ComBloc countries chop up AKM assault rifles and sell them to the United States civilian markets as parts kits to build legal rifles off of with American made receivers and some parts replaced. Just some background there.

My question is. Has the US Military considered doing this?
They are always uncovering a cache of small arms here and there. They capture them from insurgents and I am sure Saddam had some big stockpiles of AKMs.
Couldn’t they have all the recovered rifles send to a central facility, and get the receivers cut so they could be shipped here?
It could provide funding for the war, jobs for Iraqis and make those of us here at home very happy since parts kits have become so much more expensive/harder to find recently.

Has this been considered? What do you think of the idea?

The ATF ruins all the fun, don’t they? Shoot, and I thought I was onto something.

How many semi-automatic rifles have you/will you get before another Assault Weapon Ban?

July 21st, 2010 by eranio

This is a follow up question to my question about how teed off the liberals are that people are buying up all the assault rifles they can before another ban.

And before I go one, gun owners do have a legitimate worry, as the first thing Bill Clinton did was enact a ban on semi-automatic scary-looking guns, aka "assault rifles".

Are you buying what you can now, before a possible ban?

Here are two links to some seriously cool looking rifles. One is a semi-automatic AK, that is really nice. The other is the semi-automatic version of the military’s new Kriss .45 caliber submachine gun. It is one sweet looking rifle. Definitely a must for any gun collection.

I think I may have someone lying about their military experience, what do you think?

July 1st, 2010 by eranio

There is a guy who tells me he was in Vietnam (air force) and that his whole platoon died on a mission to an airfield but he did not go on. So I tell him to look up a name at the Vietnam Memorial wall and he say’s he doesnt remember anyones name(30+ guys and not one name remembered) Plus the other day we were watching Military chanel and the 10 best assault rifles was on and they came to the AK-47, he asked me what gun that was(He had no clue) hello people the ak-47 was the weapon of our enemy in vietnam?!?! anyone else smell some bullshit going on or is it just me? Reason why im suspicios and a lil bit angry is I am a marine infantryman (Iraq twice) and i would never forget the gun of my enemy or not remember any of my fallen comrades ecspecialy a whole platoon! Does anyone know how i could find out his military record?

Poll – Sniper rifles in the urban battle field?

June 28th, 2010 by eranio

Now, as a bit of an experiment, i’d like to hear your opinion

You are in an urban battle field, a downtown of any major city. Let’s say New York. Big city blocks, tall buildings, and the subway system. Total anarchy is rampant, every man for himself. You are given the choice between 4 sniper rifles. They are as follows:

#1: Karabiner 98k with Zeiss 4x ZF42 scope, chambered in 8mm (7.92x57mm Mauser)

#2: Mosin-Nagant 91/30 with 4x PEM scope, chambered in 7.62x54R

#3: Lee-Enfield SMLE No.1 MK III, (HT) with 4x telescope, chambered in .303 British

#4: Gewehr 43 with 4x ZF 4 scope, chambered in 8mm (7.92x57mm Mauser)

The enemy is an organized force, complete with supply lines and the latest in ceramic body armor. You are given the rifle of your choice, ammuniton is plentiful, and a cleaning kit for your gun of choice. In this urban guerrila war, you are to fight for your life. Please state which one you would choose and give a detailed explaination on why.

I’ll start out. I’d choose the Mosin-Nagant. The cartridge is plenty powerful for shots over 300 yards, and with the scope accurate shots have been recorded up to and beyond the 1000 yard mark. I own and use one today and go with the "use what you know" trick, though the farthest shot I ever got was 445 yards. It, to me, seems like the obvious choice for its reliability, ease of use, and accuracy.

Thank you for your input!

Obviously, you people can’t enjoy a thought experiment. Just take it for what it is. And, those say this is a video game, where are you going to be when the riots occur in your neighborhood?

Will you actually be able to be a sniper on Killzone 2?

June 19th, 2010 by eranio

I know that there is a sniper rifle in the game, but in multiplayer, will it act like a true sniper and will you actually be able to act as one, or will it be like Resistance 2 where the sniper rifles are basically assault rifles?

Is it legal to hunt deer with an assault rifle?

June 19th, 2010 by eranio

Or any other gun of that sort. Like, is it legal to hunt with an m-16 or something? What about a handgun?
Haha, yeah I know it would be unwise. I’m just curious.
Fellers,
I know an M16 isn’t an assault rifle. I was just asking if assault rifles are legal, and if M16s and other fully-automatic weapons would be legal too.

Why are American corporations so rotten?

June 3rd, 2010 by eranio

Seriously, if it’s from an American corporation, you can pretty much depend on it being cheaply made, prone to failure and overpriced. Whether it’s movies, movie theaters, video game systems like the Xbox, cars, commercial jets, prescription drugs, fighter jets, military tanks, computers or assault rifles, you can depend on it being complete garbage. Now, that’s not because we lack the knowledge and expertise to make them properly, it’s because the typical corporate American mentality is that of speed and profits above all else.

Why not make a better product and have repeat customers for life? I won’t buy any other car than a Honda, and there are other people who do the same with Toyota. I’ve never regretted it. My experience with American cars is that they’re all garbage. My dad had a Chrysler van from 1994, and bought another one in 2004. The interior electronics, save for some styling changes, were basically the same and horribly dated! The car looked lovely from the outside but had 1980′s electronics in it and felt cheap!

I know all corporations can be bad when they want to be, but why are American companies so stupid and rotten?
