I was thinking a military training rifle from WW2.I like old fashioned stuff.Any other suggestions?
I want a .22 rifle,and i’m not a huge fan of ruger.
is the five-seven really a good defense gun?I admit I was very impressed with it in writing, but I thought it was only good for vest penetration. Also I don’t think many criminals carry a 1000 handgun with 2$ bullets.
i want a good sniper rifle for airsoft but idk witch one to get. i like the kar98k because of the realistic features and the realistic bullets but when i look at the echo1 sniper it seems to have more power. any advice.
Why would a person need several guns explain why someone would need 15 guns? Why would a person need an Assault Rifle? Why would a person need hundreds of bullets? What ever happened to moderation?
Like I said I can understand having a few of them, I just don’t understand why a civilian would need high powered military grade assault rifles?
I’m just wondering about something. Assuming they have access to pistols, rifles, what do they need a shotgun for? How is tactically better than say M-16 or some other weapon? Do they use bullets or buckshot?
Right now I’m in Russia picking whether to just get my shotgun for hunting or also apply for a rubber bullet pistol permit. But starting this summer these pistols are treated like hunting weapons, meaning you can’t carry them loaded or use within city limits. I’m also having trouble imagining a scenario where I’d use that pistol and not get into trouble for doing it. If it comes to that I might as well use the shotgun.
What comes after bullets? I know conventional firearms will last very long in our military, but with 21st century technology, what comes after bullets? I’m guessing "Smart" bullets or some sort of directed energy weapon. Am I wrong or right?
Also would directed energy weapons be more effective than "Smart" bullets? I think "Smart" bullets would have a huge advantage being able to guide theirselfs to their target. Am I right or wrong?
Literally what kind of gear do you THINK we will be using?, what kind of vehicles and air crafts do you think we’ll have?. What kind of weapons do you think we will have? Do you think we’ll still be using bullet fire arms or will bullets be a thing of the past? Will we be using robotics in combat?
Of course there is no way to know for sure, but I want to hear some of your educated opinions judging by how things are going with our military today.
So i was watching the history channel and saw some soldiers do some training exercises and saw a squared shaped orange object at the end of the guns. The guns even looked like they were being fired and whatnot. Does anyone know what exactly what that was. I know it wasn’t just a airsoft gun with a orange tip, looked like it stopped the bullets or something of that nature.
I was wondering how I can have both armor piercing bullets and a silencer on my sniper rifle?
I know this is possible because I accidentally did it, but to a weapon i don’t care about.
I have a PC, and if you answer this will you please give very exact instructions, because my graphics card is to old so i only see blocks instead of letters,
Thanks for the help!
Most E5 and below Military Personal are living far below
the US Poverty Level…
NO, the Military DOES NOT give them everything…
The only thing the Military gives anyone (Single) is 3 Hots & a Cot, Medical, Rifle and Webgear, Bullets…MOS Training…
They MUST pay for everything else right from their First Issue
of Military Clothing in Basic/Boot Camp…plus any Hygiene
products that they might need…
When they get Married…The money that was going to the MessHall to feed him..is then given to him and his Family…
He/She must now pay to eat in a Messhall…
(Just shifted money from one place to another…)
As for Family MEDICAL…well they have what is called
Tri Care that the Military person has to pay for…
Most civilians would be screaming if they had to pay
the Co Pays that are required on this Medical Plan…
which covers next to nothing…
I’m going to play the halo 3 beta thats this Wednesday, and I’ve seen a lot of videos with the assault rifle. Since it will be the average respawn weapon, I probably should know more about it. My question, is to ask any kind of tips for using the new assault rifle: how to aim, use bullets wisely, etc. Oh, by the way, I could use some beta friends. all mine have the original xbox. my gamertag is TheGodOfWar91. Thanks for the tips.
if you are far enough, will gravity pull the bullet down so ur actually shooting below your intended target? does the bullet have a delay time? like if ur target is moving at a fast speed and you shoot right when hes in ur crosshairs…will it still miss because it cant travel to its destination fast enough? if it is windy will that affect the bullets trajectory? And besides…isnt the scope like an inch or two higher than the barrel? if you aim at a bullseye with the crosshairs wont you just shoot an inch or two below it? sorry i dont know much about guns i was just curious
I know the USA gives billions in aid to Israel every year. However I was wondering ruffly at what percentage does the Israeli military use the US military’s gear, weapons etc? Do we send over our own stuff for them to use ie M16, planes, bullets, bombs. Do they use their own military inventions of some other countries?
guns will be manufactured for the military only! all weapons from the public will be declared obselete.you can own your own but bullets are no longer sold to the public"(?)
All you need is 4 or 5 people with rifles or rapid fire assualt rifles, to aim directly in front of the plane and put up a wall of bullets it has to fly through? Since the army denies theyre military planes why not shoot em down?
Who said anything about crop dusters?
Well dont come howling to me when your town is sprayed with military grade toxins, barium compounds and toxic fungi, its happening all over the country you fools and the military say the planes are not theirs.
1. Why do many foreign military sniper rifles use 7.62 bullets instead of the lighter, more accurate 5.56 round?
2. What is the difference between rounds such as 7.62×51, 7.62×54, 303… ect. I just want to know what the differences are, no matter how small. Also differences b/w the 5.56 rounds/.223 ect
3. .223 is the same thing as 5.56, right? just like .303 is same as 7.62?
4. Is the recoil of a .45 the same as .357mag? which is bigger if not equal?
I was wondering why the M9 pistol is used sometimes as opposed the standard service rifles–the M4 and M16 series. I see infantrymen, security forces/military police, etc… armed militarymen choosing to put away the rifle and instead use the pistol. The rifles can shoot more than one bullet at a time, if set in the burst or auto mode, and have more powerful ammunition, in addition to more bullets per magazine (20 or 30 vs 15 for the pistol), so in what cases is the M9 considered better than the M4/M16 rifles?
I know this question sounds pretty stupid, but if you think about it, the concept of a gunpowder explosion propelling a metallic projectile at high speeds (bullets) has been around since the late middle ages in Europe. We’re talking a couple hundred years of gunpowder warfare. Obviously the guns we use today are efficient but in your opinion, do you think bullets will ever be replaced by something else?
I’ve never, ever met anyone who was both knowledgeable about firearms and not in favor of the second amendment. Knowledgeable in this case means knowledge beyond the fact that guns propel projectiles called bullets which are potentially lethal. Perhaps this goes to show that fear and ignorance go hand in hand. Ted Kennedy’s car has STILL killed more people than any of my guns. BTW I’m a veteran, so don’t even mention the military please.
True, I don’t "use uzi’s for self defense." The 9mm provides inferior stopping power in combat situations. If you doubt this look up the 1986 FBI Florida shootout; One bank robber was shot 6 times without falling and he was free of any drugs or alcohol. Additionally I don’t need to spray and pray–One shot, one kill.
Um, the constitution doesn’t guarantee one’s right to drive drunk or have an abortion. Could this contributor name the intentions of the 8th or 10th amendment off-hand (without a visit to Wiki)? Have they demonstrated they are competent with a firearm?
For speed, accuracy, caliber of bullets used [the higher the caliber the better] and range.
I hear the AK-47 is pretty good.
in real life not in video games.
Not that i need a gun. Also where i live guns are banned.
You know what?this is a joke question.
My delima is just this……These underage people are aloud to be given a gun and sent to war yet here in the USA when they return they can’t drink alcohol or even purchase hand guns or purchase bullets…….Does this make sence to you?
Ok for a few years now there has been a shortage of ammo and some types of firearms. Many claimed it was the American gun owners fault.
Well here are some links to help you answer this question of mine; Was this shortage of firearms and ammo caused just from a buying frenzy of the American public?
It’s a 9mm pistol, licensed in his name, and the ammo wasn’t anywhere near the gun. He keeps it for protection, because we live by a wooded area and there have been a lot of robberies and rape cases around. Virginia Law says he can keep it in his car, as long as it’s nowhere near the bullets. He went to pick up his cousin, who lives on a military base, and got stopped by the guards. He told them that he had his gun in the car (before the found it themselves and things got worse). This is when he found out he wasn’t allowed to carry a firearm on a military base and was held in a holding cell for about twelve hours before they released him. He wasn’t aware that because he was a civilian, he couldn’t carry his gun along with him. His record is clean, aside from traffic tickets. He has court today – does anyone know what the outcome will be?
I believe he’s going to civilian court. I understand he should have been aware of the law and whatnot, but we live nowhere near a military base, so I’m sure the guy who sold him the gun didn’t think to notify him of it.
That is a dumb law! You can have a gun in your car but the ammo can’t be with it?! Wow! So if someone comes up to the car with a gun, what do we say? "Wait, let me load my gun…" !? Ridiculous!
to learn about the pro's and con's of each as well as the biggest mistake all the "heavy artillery" guys make when choosing "terminator ammo"!
(Hint: It has nothing to do with "stopping power" but it's nearly as important to your family that you get this right! Not doing so could cost you a lifetime of grieving that no law-abiding family should suffer...EVER!)Read More...
