Would this hovercraft at the site below be punctured by machine gun rounds, sniper rifle, or aircraft bullets?

Hi
I’m sure most of us have seen the picture of, I think it was a british soldier, whose Kevlar helmet stopped 3 AK 47 rounds in Iraq. I tried telling this to a guy a work but he wouldn’t believe me…even thought there is a picture on the internet to prove it. In his own words he says that"it violates the laws of physics" to get a grouping of about 3 bullets in about a 10 inch square area or so..maybe a bit more. To me it doesn’t seem so far fetcher..but i have never been in the military. It was an AK that fired the rounds, but he’s is trying to tell me that NO machine gun of any type can get such a close grounping..even on 3 round burst. So..I want some solid facts to take back to work and prove him wrong. Some links or real data would be great. Thanks.

I know that I shouldn’t hold down fire and shoot like a maniac, but what is the best pattern?
Should I shoot like 5 bullets and then pause and do that over again? or should I shoot 1 bullet and pause for a short time?
I don’t know

The m 16, ar 15, ak 74, ak 47 and the Famas are all .223 cal. I want a higher caliber assault rifle but I also want to know why most modern military rifles are such a low cal. I know that the rifles are all the same size so NATO can use the same ammo for the different countries guns, but are they small bullets to make them better at piercing body armour ? any suggestions on what assault rifle to get for my self? (other that the ar 10)

I ask this question because i notice that most guns (with a few exceptions), ejects bullets from the right side….
I think that firing a gun for a left handed (especially an assualt rifle) would be bothersome everytime a bullet ejects from right side of the gun thus hitting you or get in your way.
Does people that are left handed get trained to shoot right handed in boot camp, or is their some sort of special custom made weapon for them? Please fill me in, thanks.

i just met this guy and he is like so into guns and the military
on our date we went to the arcade and he was so into the shooting games. In his e-mail he writes meet me at 1400 HRS instead of just 2 pm. and he uses the word "intel"…i think this is kinda weird….he mentions like the complicated names of the guns and about different types of bullets. I think he got so into it because he was abused (hitting, shoving, violence) by his step dad when he was a little boy…..should i be cautious? should i tell him about it

and hes serious about joining

So typically how does the US military warrant a replacement for a GI’s firearm. Is there a certain number of years a weapon has to be in action or do they measure wear by number of bullets fire?
