What's more believable: Iraq having weapons of mass destruction or Kadafi taking down a lot of his citizens?

March 22nd, 2011 by eranio

What military movement makes more sense to you?

Starting the war in Iraq because there are weapons of mass destruction?
or
Help other countries take down Kadafi’s military power so he doesn’t kill off millions of his own citizens?

Does anyone believe the United states is engaged in the manipulation of free markets through military force .

March 20th, 2011 by eranio

That we promote dictators around the globe when it suites our purposes and then topple them as needed .
That the democracy’s we support often use a police state to control the people and the weapons and technology to do this is provided by our Military contractors .
That we will attempt to over throw an elected leader in a democracy if we do not agree with his policy’s and that many of our trading partners oppress their people .
Places we do business in and governments we support that have a history of killing citizens to maintain control .

War is a business and Bush is its biggest supporter .

How would YOU rewrite the Second Amendment?

January 20th, 2011 by eranio

unfortunately, our forefathers didn’t have enough foresight when writing the Second Amendment. the PURPOSE of the Second Amendment is for the citizens to be able to keep weapons so that they are ever faced with a tyrannical government, they can revolt. anybody who thinks that our current government is tyrannical, please refrain from answering this question, as you are crazy.

if the Second Amendment is interpreted as citizens are allowed to have any and all weapons that they can, this means that citizens have the Constitutional right to own nuclear weapons, assault weapons, chemical weapons, military weapons, etc. etc. should there be a limit??

i’m not sure what wording i would use, but i would definitely outlaw hand guns (most important), assault rifles, extended magazines and other dangerous accessories, and any other firearm that is easily concealable or used for anything other than hunting. weapons used for hunting are plenty for self defense, and they are not easily concealable.

what do u think? do you REALLY think that things are fine the way they are now??
stop clinging to a piece of paper that was written hundreds of years ago… the Constitution AND the Bible. LOL

Is anyone else astounded at firearms in the USA?

January 15th, 2011 by eranio

I am an Australian who is also a member of the Australian Military. I am astounded to see the state of affairs with weapons in the USA. The arguments for firearms are coming from people who clearly have no idea what they are talking about. I saw one person say "However, each year gun-wielding citizens kill between 2,000 and 3,000 criminals in self-defense, an astounding three times the number killed by police." The idea that "killing" criminals is a good thing is totally sick minded and insane. The police don’t go out bounty hunting criminals they try to stop crime and kill only as an absolute last resort. That shows that the police are at least half competent at finding resolutions to crime that don’t involve slaughtering thousands of petty criminals. If anything that statistic shows the lack of proper training or respect American civilians have for firearms. One of the most frustrating things by far is seeing American civilians with assault weapons who have no idea what they are doing. They regard the safety on and not pointing the weapon at people as sufficient to ensure safety. Regularly I see them with their fingers inside the trigger guard swinging the weapon around like I would expect a toddler with a water pistol to act. I seriously cannot believe that people think this is sensible. Australia has some of the tightest weapon restrictions on the planet and I am thankful I live here. It is not violent crime with firearms that concerns me. It is the monumental amount of people killed accidentally in America from incompetent fools handling firearms much more deadly than anything they should have access to. Americans also seem to have the idea that shooting is a "fun" and "recreational" thing to do. Shooting is designed to kill, it is not fun, it is a horrible necessity of the world we live in and only people who have had no experience with the horrific real world use of firearms would think of them as fun.

The idea that having a country full of people with assault weapons for self defense is insane. Essentially the only way to ensure you have any degree of safety in America in your home is to arm yourself to the teeth. I don’t want to have my house full of firearms! Is that fair? I have had enough of firearms! If I never saw another firearm in my entire life I would be a happy man! In Australia break and enters are much safer. The person breaking into your house knows he isn’t going to run into a redneck nutcase with an M16 so he doesn’t bother with a firearm he brings a knife. Since people have home and contents insurance if a robbery does occur no one gets hurt and hopefully the police will find the offender and arrest him and since the police have firearms and the offender doesn’t no one gets hurt and the offender surrenders. This is the reality in Australia not a fairy tale! Look at the statistics! Sure there is still armed gang crime in Australia but they tend to stick to themselves it is the normal civilian populous that I am worried about.

I say again, I have had enough of firearms. I don’t want to see another firearm in my entire life. Is it fair to expect that the only way I will be able to ensure my safety is to arm myself to the teeth in my own home? Don’t tell me that that is the only way my own country is a beacon to prove that is not the case.

Am I the only one?
Steven F: I couldn’t care less if you think an assault weapon is a fraudulent concept that’s what they were called and that’s definitely what they were used for so don’t insult my service with your pathetic semantics you insolent bastard.
Icr000: You also managed to have a bloody war amongst yourselves. You have a point, your country is simply not ready for peace yet.

What will you do if or when the United States declares Martial Law or State of Emergency?

December 31st, 2010 by eranio

Would you….

A) Follow the orders of the government,

You would not be allowed to leave your home.
Your food would be brought to you.
Military forces would be present.
All Firearms and self defense weapons would be seized.
Television stations would shut down. (Leaving one channel to broadcast federally approved information)
Anyone that has been convicted of any crime would be detained if not killed.
Anyone currently serving a sentence in prison would be put to death.
And most citizens would be detained without Habeas Corpus.

B) Fight Back

Gather your weapons.
Dig in.
Defend.

C) Contact your local Militia and join.

D) Join the US Military.
Pacifist need to pick A.
And it does not matter what the reason, your freedom just got jacked!
A reason very possible,

Say the Iranians provoke the United States in to war, a war approved by congress. Then the use a nuclear device provided by North Korea. The US will then institute the draft because the UN would place sanctions on us if we used nuclear weapons our selves. Causing us to go bankrupt with the World Bank, anyhow the US would institute the draft and a lot of people would go, some wouldn’t. Then Iran uses biological weapons killing thousands of our troops. We would send more troops, not realizing that Iran has been sending troops through South America. Soon Iranian forces would cross the Mexican border and begin an assault on US soil. Badda boom Badda Bang. Martial Law.

HR45 and what it would mean to gun owners in the USA?

December 11th, 2010 by eranio

This bill has been floating around now for a couple weeks and I saw another story today on it and how its making an appearance on the hill. HR45 would make the "assault" rifle ban in 94 by Clinton look like a walk in the park. Assault rifles would not be banned for several years like before, they would be banned permanently. You would have to have an FFL in order to legally own a firearm in HR45. How would the government go about confiscating legal firearms from tax paying, ex military, clean record Americans? Liberals may ask, why do you need an assault rifle, why do you need guns, its not a matter of need or want, but of the God given right provided to all US citizens by the constitution. If two men can get married, or a woman can have an abortion, why cant I protect my family from a possible threat? Why does this administration want to take away the right to defend ourselves? Obama has already said that he will not weaponize space, he will cut our nuclear arsenal, and now he wants to take away our guns….somethings fishy here.

What foreign military accepts foreign recruits?

November 16th, 2010 by eranio

Ok so here is the "skinny". I’m going to be 21 in a week and I have nothing to show for it. I live in a country (USA) that basically sh@ts on its own people and instead of moving aside they (her citizens) just open their mouths for Uncle Sam’s load. I was a straight A student my entire life but an illegal alien (Mexican) was given my scholarship over myself (born in USA). I can’t obtain steady, stable employment because of the economy here and I can’t join the american military because I’m ten pounds over weight. Ridiculous huh?? I bet if the Chinese Army were knocking at the backdoor they wouldn’t even bothering weighing my ass they’d just hand me a rifle. I’ve considered just moving to another state but I keep hearing the same story everywhere about jobs and opportunity (Their are none). I’d be in the same situation just in another state…My weight doesn’t exactly come off easy (6’3, 230lbs) and I don’t have time to waste and to be honest I don’t feel I should have to conform to such outrageous standards. The american military basically wants olympians. I was told by an online source that if I showed up at a South African Military Recruit Station I’d be: "In like Flynn." Does anyone know of any national military that takes foreign recruits? I know to some (brainwashed patriots) this may seem drastic but I’m sick of taking Uncle Sam’s load up the ass, I’m sick of the sh@t that goes on here and I’m fed up with the way people here just ignore it. Thanks for your input foreign friends…

Why do we need to have guns?

Why do Americans live in denial Mexican drug cartels only exist because the US is the largest drug consumer?

September 22nd, 2010 by eranio

It’s true go to wikipedia 50 percent of cocaine usage is here in the US
I mean if drug cartels wouldn’t have demand they would go somewhere
Else right? I mean you never hear in the news that the US exports more firearms and military equipment than any other country in the world I mean come on people yes Mexico has a lot of corruption but I mean it’s so whack how the news attack so much foreign countries but that’s just politics. I’m an international person I love to know what happens around the world. Did you know that illegal immigrants NOT only from Mexico but from central and south America and Asia and parts of Europe work in this country and get taxes deducted out of their paychecks and in tax season don’t have the privilage that us citizens have by getting a tax refund but yes I know they broke the law because they are human and because in life their is a need called survival. I understand there is hate in the world and I respect the ignorance of people but there are people that see the reality and understand it well my point is that PEOPLE JUST WANT TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE.

Why doesn't the military just shoot all the terrorists at Guatanamo Bay?

September 21st, 2010 by eranio

Koombayaa chanting hippy liberals think the terrorists being held at Guatanamo Bay deserve special treatment, and have the rights of US citizens. Why don’t we just line the terrorists up aganst a wall and shoot them all? They forfeited their right to live the moment they aimed a gun at US troops.

Is it reasonable to hold the citizens of the U.S. liable for the actions of it's government and military?

September 8th, 2010 by eranio

Considering that citizens vote to elect the officials that represent them, and fund the decisions and actions of their representatives and their military by paying taxes, are they just as responsible as, say, the senator or congressman that votes to go to war with another country and the soldier who aims his gun at an adversary and pulls the trigger?

That is, is there any real distinction among the government officials who decide to wage war, the taxpayers that fund it, the soldiers that participate in it, and the citizens that support and oppose it, or are they all just as complicit?

Which is better for defending your home, the AR-15 vs. AK-47?

August 28th, 2010 by eranio

Which of these 2 rifles makes a better home defense gun, the AR-15 or the AK-47? I am talking about defending your home in a doomsday situation, when Western civilization as we know it melts down and every man is for himself. Or in a situation where our country is invaded by foreign powers and we as citizens must fight along with our military against the invaders.

Do you think there should be compulsory military training in the US?

August 1st, 2010 by eranio

Just curious as to what you think about this and why. I was reading Dr. Laura’s blog about this in light of the tragic events at Virginia Tech and this is what she had to say:
I believe every household should have at least one person trained and certified to shoot a gun. I believe every young person between 18 and 20 years of age should be required to receive compulsory military training. Over 70 nations in the world require some level of compulsory military service on the part of their young citizens including countries such as Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Why shouldn’t the United States be as prepared as these countries? I believe we as Americans should be equipped mentally and physically to protect ourselves, our family, and our Country

What do you think?

Does the CA guns laws violate our 2nd amendment rights?

July 31st, 2010 by eranio

I read somewhere that the founding fathers actually wanted citizens to have military grade weapons. CA laws do not let us have a clip that holds over 10 rounds and no assault rifles.

Why exactly do American citizens need automatic military style assault riffles?

July 31st, 2010 by eranio

I get why we have rifles for hunters,i get hand guns for protection (although i’m not a fan of them) But tell me why we need military style assault weapons in the hands of citizens?
I’m pretty much only a fan of rifles/shot guns for hunting or protection in the home. It’s kind of scary knowing that people everywhere are walking around the street with hand guns or own military style weapons.
LOL @ whip that was a pathetic answer! No one needs automatic military style weapons unless you’re breaking the laws that barely hold this country together
I support the right to bare arms but not military assault "spray the area" type of weapons
this isn’t the old days the government isn’t going to come after you and murder you and your family for not paying your taxes….. there’s no need for them

What will you do if that idiot in the white house takes away our guns (NO HATE COMMENTS)?

July 26th, 2010 by eranio

I think that there could be a civil war between us and the government and that the U.S. Military will side with the citizens because they agree with us so we (the citizens and military) will dominate and lose barely any men……… YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And if he does take away our guns why doesn’t he take away Chuck Norris he is more dangerous than any gun. And he will help us destroy the evil government zombies.

Posted in military guns | 19 Comments »

why should we even have the right to bear arms, if our guns are nothing compared to military guns?

July 21st, 2010 by eranio

Apparently, it was made so that the citizens can protect themselves against a tyrannical government. Well, the US military if they so choose, could easily today crush any resistance from the US people because their guns are waay better.

So why even arm citizens if the Government has better guns anyway?

Do you think you should have to serve in the military to be able to vote?

July 14th, 2010 by eranio

Since everyone seems to have such an attitude towards those who are not "U.S. Citizens" maybe they should have to earn it, instead of just inheriting it. Such things like voting, buying guns, not having to pay income taxes etc. American need to stop acting like they hit a triple, and realize they were born on third base.

Why is education being cut in favor of weapons and incarceration?

July 10th, 2010 by eranio

The politicians gonna make the U.S. look like a third world nation in a few years with all the financial mismanagement going down since schools are shutting down and consolidating but prisons are booming alongside the military with loads of weapons. That leaves most of the U.S. citizens rallying much like Hatians are doing right now to get stuff straightened out.

What are those Israeli weapons exploding?

June 26th, 2010 by eranio

I always thought I knew a few things about the military, but I’ve never seen these weapons the Israeli military is using in Gaza right now. If you watch any news channel, you’ll see them. they look sort of like reverse fireworks, where there’s a shower of sparks raining from above. Are these concussion weapons that I’ve read about, where they try to warn the citizens more lethal weapons are on their way? Are they artillery pieces?

Please read this portion of a military questionnaire given to returning vets?

June 20th, 2010 by eranio

does this frighten you more than the threat of unseen terrorists in some cave?
46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale, transportation, and transfer of all non-approved firearms. A 30-day amnesty period is established for these firearms to be turned over to the local authorities. At the end of this period, a number of irregular citizen groups and defiant individuals refuse to turn over their firearms to authority. Consider the following statement: [SD D A SA NO](=strongly disagree, disagree, agree, strongly agree, no opinion)

"I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the United States government."

DD Form 3206 (Rev 2/96)
