How would YOU rewrite the Second Amendment?

January 20th, 2011 by eranio

unfortunately, our forefathers didn’t have enough foresight when writing the Second Amendment. the PURPOSE of the Second Amendment is for the citizens to be able to keep weapons so that they are ever faced with a tyrannical government, they can revolt. anybody who thinks that our current government is tyrannical, please refrain from answering this question, as you are crazy.

if the Second Amendment is interpreted as citizens are allowed to have any and all weapons that they can, this means that citizens have the Constitutional right to own nuclear weapons, assault weapons, chemical weapons, military weapons, etc. etc. should there be a limit??

i’m not sure what wording i would use, but i would definitely outlaw hand guns (most important), assault rifles, extended magazines and other dangerous accessories, and any other firearm that is easily concealable or used for anything other than hunting. weapons used for hunting are plenty for self defense, and they are not easily concealable.

what do u think? do you REALLY think that things are fine the way they are now??
stop clinging to a piece of paper that was written hundreds of years ago… the Constitution AND the Bible. LOL

carrying fake guns in public (presumably bb or paint)?

October 16th, 2010 by eranio

I have a neighbour who lives alone and drives trucks. He also like to dress up like a soldier and carry riffles and hand guns around our estate though he is not in the TA or the military, just a local fake gun club like paintball. It is a little scary as we live next to Hungerford (hungerford massacre) to see this slightly odd chap dressed up with fake guns (though they shoot ballbearings). Should I call the Police? Or is it perfectly legal to carry fake guns in military like clothing outside of a club…please advise

How do you know if your guns almost out of ammo?

September 2nd, 2010 by eranio

I always wondered how the military uses their ammo in their guns. They could be busting into a house with 10 guys in it with only 1 shot left in their clip. How do they know? Same think with police and hand guns.

Should I go into the military or a mental hospital?

August 3rd, 2010 by eranio

When ever I walk into a room with anyone that I don’t know or just on the street, I look at them, size them up and in about half a second I know the fastest and most efficient way to kill that person or group of people. Im not a mean person and my friends say that I’m the most genuinely good hearted person they know, I just always think about how to kill. I’m not sure if I need to go to a mental hospital or to join the military. I could easily do the military because I’m proficient in Krav Maga and am studying Ninjitsu, I’m in excellent shape and I’m a dead on shot with rifles and hand guns. I’m just wondering if it would be best to use my instinct or to suppress it?

Why exactly do American citizens need automatic military style assault riffles?

July 31st, 2010 by eranio

I get why we have rifles for hunters,i get hand guns for protection (although i’m not a fan of them) But tell me why we need military style assault weapons in the hands of citizens?
I’m pretty much only a fan of rifles/shot guns for hunting or protection in the home. It’s kind of scary knowing that people everywhere are walking around the street with hand guns or own military style weapons.
LOL @ whip that was a pathetic answer! No one needs automatic military style weapons unless you’re breaking the laws that barely hold this country together
I support the right to bare arms but not military assault "spray the area" type of weapons
this isn’t the old days the government isn’t going to come after you and murder you and your family for not paying your taxes….. there’s no need for them

Am I eligible to purchase a handgun or "military style assault weapon"? Minnesota?

July 28th, 2010 by eranio

I live in Minnesota, and am 18 years old. Ever since I was about 12 years old my uncle has taken me to a shooting range about once or twice a month to fire some of guns (primarily hand guns – m9, m1911, sig sauer, glock-19 and assault weapons – AR-15, AK47), its been one of my favorite things to do since then. I absolutely love firing these weapons at the gun ranges, its a hobby I’ve enjoyed for a long time. Now I’m 18 years old and I’m interested in purchasing an "assault weapon" for target shooting.
I’ve taken a firearms safety class.
However there are a few things I’m afraid will prevent me from being able to purchase a firearm…The two biggest are probably that I spent 35 days in a drug rehab clinic for heroin and benzodiazapine addiction, and I’ve been diagnosed with depression.
Will my time spent in rehab and depression diagnosis make it impossible to purchase a firearm?
Thank you in advance for your answers
Thanks for your answers
I chose to go to rehab (was sick of being dependent on a chemical to live) so no, I wasn’t admitted there under court order or anything
I’ve never been charged with a drug related offense of any kind.
thanks for the replies!

Why are so many Pro-lifers also Pro-guns, Pro-death penalty, and Pro-Military?

March 21st, 2010 by eranio

Hmmmmm?
Care to explain this little hypocrisy to me?
maybe I should have put this in philosophy. You are taking the question too literally. One of the Pro-life arguments is that life is sacred. By also being for the other things they show they are flexible(hypocritical) about when and how sacred it is. Pro-lifers killing abortion doctors etc.
Actually im pro-choice, pro-death penalty and think it should include sex offender, Im only against hand guns, and I have no problem with the military just the people running it. To wichitaor(whatever). You watch fox news dont you?

When you’re in the military, are you automatically given a gun license that is also honored in civilian life?

February 5th, 2010 by eranio

NOT talking about class III firearms. Just regular hand guns and rifles. I want to know if I would still have to pay a fee to get a gun license if I’m (which I’m not) serving in the military.

Do Americans really believe if the government takes the guns away it means they’re next step is fascism?

February 3rd, 2010 by eranio

Do Americans really believe their brother and neighbors in the military would turn on them?

And what would be the point to becoming a fascism? The government wouldn’t want that any more than the citizens. So why do people constantly refer to that ridiculous reason to have guns?

Ps, if or some bizarre reason the military did attack the general populace, a bunch of obese people with hand guns will not stop them.

If there are people in the US crazy enough to believe this, should they still be allowed to own a gun? Even when they talk about shooting up congress?

i dont understand the reason for hand guns and assault rifles outside of military use?

November 30th, 2009 by eranio

hunting rifles im ok with but hand guns and assault rifles are made to kill people. if we stopped making those available to the public i think gun violence would go down. no one is going to walk down the street with a 3 foot manual rifle.
