Obama banning firearms? 2nd Ammendment, now no ammenedment…right to bear arms…?

February 22nd, 2011 by eranio

I’m sure many people have been touchin on this subject as of late and recent times. But I still want to bring it up. I am against such law, I am from Texas of course, and I’ve always been able to go anywhere with my rifle for one, and my dad with his pistol and just shoot for fun. With a proper permit, we can carry a concealed handgun. I believe banning will not solve any issues, it will bing another civil war, and slowly Obama will pick our country apart by tearing out every ammendment that we have ever loved and cared about that has kept this country in tact since 1776. There is horrible crime don’t you doubt. But someone is going to get a hold of a weapon, or someone is going to murder in a different way…either way it’s not going to be any better if not worst. I am in the military as well, so I was always taught to "love" my weapon and never leave it, I sure as hell am not going to have someone pry it from my hands when I am home in Texas. How do you protect your family when ya really need too? Crap happens…and you can no longer protect your family…opinions anyone?

Why do Russians have superior military technology?

February 15th, 2011 by eranio

They’ve invented underwater assault rifles, amphibious vehicles, recoiless assault rifles, helicopters that can attack and transport at the same time, tanks that can transport infantry, and machine pistols. What the hell does America have?

Do you think the US military should go with a bullpup rifle design?

February 4th, 2011 by eranio

Longer barrel with carbine length, ambidextrous, change between regular barrels and the H-BAR with no trouble. Might as well just adopt the Steyr AUG with a 20 inch barrel so you get M16 A1-A4 like performance instead of the problematic 14 inch M4 barrel. The Steyr also has all of it’s problems worked out, so there will be no "gun hell" to go through like there was when the M-16 was first put into service.

Ignore the economic situation at the moment, because we are buying tanks which aren’t being used. Think of how many new rifles could be bought for the price of one tank.

How much more advanced is the South Korean military compared to the North Korean?

December 30th, 2010 by eranio

Was just looking at some figures and it seems the South is spending 5 times more on it’s military than the North (.5 billion compared to billion). Yet the North has nearly double the amount of soldiers, more tanks, a hell of a lot more submarines and double the amount of airforce personnel. I’d just like some examples of the weapons and equipment the South are using compared to what the North are using.

10 rules for dating a military mans daughter?

October 3rd, 2010 by eranio

Lol i liked this one wo i thought i would share…

Rule One: If you pull into my driveway and honk you’d better be delivering a package, because you’re sure as hell not picking anything up.

Rule Two: You do not touch my daughter in front of me. You may glance at her, so long as you do not peer at anything below her neck. If you cannot keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter’s body, I will remove them from your body.

Rule Three: I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don’t take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, in order to assure that your clothes do not, in fact, come off during the course of your date with my daughter, I will take my electric staple gun and fasten your trousers securely in place around your waist.

Rule Four: I’m sure you’ve been told that in today’s world, sex without utilizing a "barrier method" of some kind can kill you. Let me elaborate: when it comes to sex, I am the barrier, and I will kill you.

Rule Five: In order for us to get to know each other, I am told, we should talk about sports, politics, and other issues of the day. Please do not do this. The only information I require from you is an indication of when you expect to have my daughter safely back at my house, and the only word I need from you on this subject is "early."

Rule Six: I have no doubt you are a popular fellow, with many opportunities to date other girls. This is fine with me as long as it is okay with my daughter. Otherwise, once you have gone out with my little girl, you will continue to date no one but her until she is finished with you. If you make her cry, I will make you cry.

Rule Seven: As you stand in my front hallway, waiting for my daughter to appear, and more than an hour goes by, do not sigh and fidget. If you want to be on time for a movie, you should not be dating. My daughter is putting on her makeup, a process which can take longer than painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Instead of just standing there, why don’t you do something useful… like changing the oil in my car?

Rule Eight: The following places are not appropriate for a date with my daughter:

*Places where there are beds, sofas, or anything softer than a wooden stool.
*Places where there are no parents, policemen, or nuns within eyesight.
*Places where there is darkness.
*Places where there is dancing, holding hands, or happiness of any kind.
*Places where the ambient temperature is warm enough to induce my daughter to wear shorts, tank tops, midriff T-shirts, or anything other than overalls, a sweater, and a goose down parka zipped up to her Adam’s Apple.
*Movies with a strong romantic or sexual theme are to be avoided; movies which feature chainsaws are okay. Hockey games are okay, too.

Rule Nine: Do not lie to me. I may appear to be a potbellied, balding, middle-aged, dimwitted has-been. But on issues relating to my daughter, I am the all-knowing, merciless god of your universe. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Do not trifle with me.

Rule Ten: Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy near Hanoi. When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway you should exit your car with both hands in plain sight, speak the perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought my daughter home safely and early, then return to your car – there is no need for you to come inside. The camouflaged face at the window is mine.

What are the dimensions of a TAR-21 Assault Rifle?

September 27th, 2010 by eranio

Some websites say 720mm. But they also quote the barrel length as 460mm. What the hell? I need the exact height/weight ‘cos I’ll be making a replica from wood.

Where can I buy an assault rifle?

September 10th, 2010 by eranio

I want to buy either an M4 or an AR-15. I was wandering where I can purchase one of these guns. My credit is above 750, I am white, and I have some money saved up. I just want the gun for personal use and family protection (I am looking at worse case scenario with the state the nation is in right now)
Just stating my ethnicity. Hell, if I was Muslim, it would be a red flag to most people. I am as equal as they come. To answer your question, no criminal record.

What is the point of having a MASSIVE Military?

August 26th, 2010 by eranio

You don’t need a huge Military to defeat lesser powerful nations, and should a confrontation happen between the US and China/Russia Nuclear Weapons would be used far far sooner then a huge Military could be effectively used, and those Nuclear Weapons would end things quite quickly anyway, so what the hell is the point?

Could you see the US Military switching to a rifle with a bullpup design in the nearish future?

August 22nd, 2010 by eranio

Something like the L85 or AUG. Maybe one with a heavier round like the 6.8 mm Remington.

Also, I don’t play video games so don’t call this a CoD question.
I am talking about the next 10 or so years.
I don’t think money should be considered much of a concern as we do account for about half of the worlds total military spending at 700 billion US dollars
Xeno, I believe you mean XM-8 as I can find no references to MX-8 anywhere, and that is neither bullpup nor .308 caliber, this may not be a CoD question but that was a CoD answer.
What?, Thats not what I meant, we have the best funded military the world over, if we want to switch to a bullpup rifle we can even if it does cost a bit more than an M16. China, the UK, Australia, and France have all switched and all have much less funding than we do.
Also, sarcasm sure as hell isn’t going to help illustrate your point, its just so f*cking annoying.

How come the USA military is acting like the keystone cops?

June 30th, 2010 by eranio

The term ( Keystone Cops ) has since come to be used to criticize any group for its mistakes, particularly if the mistakes happened after a great deal of energy and activity, or if there was a lack of coordination among the members of the group. For example, the attack on Iraq to bring freedom to that country. Here it is 2006 and the USA military is getting a butt whipping by a group of rag tag men with basic weapons. The USA military looks silly as hell. The writing is on the walls so to say. The USA will go down in defeat. Shame is coming like the shame in Vietnam.

When is the military going to upgrade from the M16 and get more “Advanced Warfighter” equipment?

January 23rd, 2010 by eranio

I’m 18 right now and I eventually plan to join some branch of the military at some point in time. Just about everyone in my family has served and it’s something that I want to do as well. I’m 18 now and I think the cut-off limit is 30 so I have until then which is 12 years. I dont know but for some reason when I join I want things to be different, instead of using the same weapon my dad used over 30 years ago. I always here and see all these concepts of what our military will be equiped with in like the year 2015 and so on but it’s 2007 now and I don’t see anybody with vizors coming over there face giving them an HUD of all there surroundings and there squad. Also how much longer are we going to use the M16/M4 weapons?? I know they are excellent weapons but we have used them for a long as hell time right now. When are we going to switch over to a gun like the SCAR Assault rifle or the HK416? Anytime in the next 12 years maybe? I would be a hell of alot more excited to sign up if so.
Hah yes I know that is a quite absurd reason not to join. I think I’m going to spend about the next 8 years getting in the best shape possible and then join up when I’m about 26. I went to military school 8th through the 10th grade so I have shot civillian grade M16′s so I kind of have somewhat of a feel for the actual weapon. I want to eventually try out for the special forces in my army career. I know what it’s like to go through hell. We had an "elite" cadet program that was extremely rigorous and I learned alot through that. It’s all really just in your head. I hate to imagine what Special Forces training is like but atleast I have had a taste of what "hell training" is like. I think by the time I’m 26 If I’m in good shape I will be alot more mentally prepared for something like that. That way I can get a hand on something besides the damned M16. Thanks for the replies so far and I respect you all who have served to protect my freedom. Hopefully one day I’ll do the same. Thanks

Military using airsoft guns to train???

December 16th, 2009 by eranio

I came accross this article the other day (posted below). It claims that the military has been using airsoft guns to train soldiers and Marines. I was just wondering if any of you current servicemen have ever trained with airsoft guns. I also came accross another article (also posted below) that shows Marines playing airsoft just for the hell of it. Do any of you current military personnell play airsoft? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Should they send luxury yachts secretly armed with the best military weapons to the coast of Somalia?

November 8th, 2009 by eranio

A Somali pirate spots a luxury yacht and discovers that it is perfect to hijack.

As they get closer… all hell breaks loose when the luxury yacht sailors arm themselves with AK-47s, rocket launchers, missile launchers.

Isn’t this the perfect way to stomp some pirate skulls? send in bait to lure the Somali pirates then secretly have the military close by and BAM SURPRISE ATTACK.
