If, at some point within the next few years, either Israel or America (or both) attack Iran to halt their alleged production of nuclear weapons, what would be the economic consequences for the region and for the world?
I have read things that suggest that gas in the USA could be /per gallon is war is made against Iran. And that such an attack would produce an ever widening war, where things could only get worse.
What will happen if Iran is attacked?

Also do you think Israel could still take on the Arab nations like they did in the 6 day war in 1967? Absouluty destroying them? Or would it be a different outcome? Would Nuclear weapons play a role? What do you think the U.S, Russia, and European nations will do? How many Arab nations would it take to destroy Israel?

Think about it, America has given Israel so much stuff, that their military is too good. So the only thing to even the balance beem is none other than a Nuclear Missle.
So have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, Iran is trying to get a nuke just so they can be even with Israel since the west won’t give them money and military weapons every year?

Despite the enduring and very close diplomatic and military relationship between the United States and Israel, and all the indirect aid (funds, supplies, weapons etc.) the United States has given to Israel, it has occurred to me that I do not know of a single instance in which the United States actually lent troops or direct military action to an Israeli military operation or visa versa. Is it true that such has never happened?

genocidal nuclear weapons program, or wait until Tel Aviv or New York is in smoking, uninhabitable ruins?
YES. We should believe Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s genocidal threats against America and Israel and move to stop Iran.
NO. A few million dead Americans and Israelis are a small price to pay to defer the criticism of the "global community."

Problem solved and no military action necessary.

Iran is going to get nuclear weapons in a year, two at the most. Yes there is a good chance that Israel will launch a air strike against Iran to destroy their capability to make nuclear weapons but will most likely fail. With Obama in the White House it is a lot less likely that the United States will take any kind of military action against Iran for using nuclear weapons on Israel.

Many analysts have commented on the possibility of a US and/or Israeli led strike against Iran to try to halt Iran’s nuclear program.
They have talked about such an attack requiring as many as 1000 sorties. This would be necessary because the site are so well buried and protected.
Would Israel actually be capable of doing this with conventional military force?
Of course, they’ve always got their own nuclear weapons to fall back on. But could they achieve this goal with conventional means?

The only hope Israel has of stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons and using them on Israel is military action.
The problem is that the Israeli military is probably not big enough to get the job done.

I know the USA gives billions in aid to Israel every year. However I was wondering ruffly at what percentage does the Israeli military use the US military’s gear, weapons etc? Do we send over our own stuff for them to use ie M16, planes, bullets, bombs. Do they use their own military inventions of some other countries?

Israel continues to be the most powerful military in the Middle East, but what is your biggest weakness? I think it’d be reasonable for us Americans to sell you some B2 and B-52 bombers. Has Israel ever requested heavy bombers in the past?

The white elite supported the creation of israel with weapons. America now uses it as a military base. Do you think that putting a military base in the middle east was a good thing?
It probably did prevent the strengthening of the muslim world thus preventing a future christian muslim war.
Many terrorists are angry at our support of israel, do you think this contributed to terrorism today?

The American administration has rejected an Israeli request for military equipment and support that would improve Israel’s ability to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities.
A report published last week by the Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) states that military strikes are unlikely to destroy Iran’s centrifuge program for enriching uranium.

Just curious as to what you think about this and why. I was reading Dr. Laura’s blog about this in light of the tragic events at Virginia Tech and this is what she had to say:
I believe every household should have at least one person trained and certified to shoot a gun. I believe every young person between 18 and 20 years of age should be required to receive compulsory military training. Over 70 nations in the world require some level of compulsory military service on the part of their young citizens including countries such as Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Why shouldn’t the United States be as prepared as these countries? I believe we as Americans should be equipped mentally and physically to protect ourselves, our family, and our Country
What do you think?

As a matter of national defense! Not a draft, but a working mandatory law that required defense training that would help curtail street crime and home invasions, that seem to spike in this last decade. When israel was again established in 1948, women and men were in the fields with weapons at their side. The madia failes to report the many times people saved themselves and others with a weapon at their access, a lot of times not even have to use it, or fire upon the bad guys. Let’s face reality, these are perilous times we live in. We were able to take hunting safety courses in school, and bring guns into the shop classes to get practical credit, cleaning and maintaining them. Are we too immature to do this now?
Fay! Wake up!! The thugs have the advantage now, you are probably a bleeding heart liberal.
Cos! the criminal would be denied the weopons as is the status now, we can deny them the training now as well, as it is now the military denies these scumbags the honor!

Of course, with any armed forces, you’ll have high-tech equipment such as anti-aircraft systems, tanks, machine guns, etc. In Israel, is it implied or understood that soldiers have to break the commandment (and not keep Shabbat) as long as they’re in service?

We pay Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan maybe 10 billion to get along with Israel. This means Israel costs us maybe 30 billion a year at least and this isn’t figuring in how much they cost the world every time they cause trouble in Palestine which drives up oil costs.
How much would it cost to finish the wall and keep 20,000 soldiers there a year. The wall could be finished easily for a billion. It would cost maybe 20,000,000 to keep 20,000 soldiers there.
I say let’s finish the wall and put soldiers there and save at least 30 billion a year, because with our soldiers there we wouldn’t have to pay those countries to get along with Israel anymore.
Th savings is great. Because we have soldiers all over the world. Shouldn’t we use them where they are needed most? We have 250,000 in Germany. They are doing nothing there. 29,000 in Korea doing nothing. 100,000 in Kosovo and doing nothing.
Everyone please call your congressman and tell him we have found the solution to the middle east problems.

I see that nations like China, Belgium, Israel and others all have adopted new 21st century rifles with the same or better specs as the M16/M4 and that are more adapt for urban warfare, what rifle do you think will replace the outdated ones we have now and when?
A 21st century rifle is like the Tavor Assault Rifle where the magazine and gear box are behind the trigger so the barrell is farther back making the weapon and silloette of the fighter smaller. Also optics such as a red dot or laser scope are built in

It has been said that Iran is working on nuclear weapons, although Iran denies this.
Many experts say that Iran could have these weapons in as little as three years.
U.S. military officials have said that to stop Iran’s development of nuclear weapons would be no small task. It would take at least 1000 sorties.
Israel would not likely tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. They would strongly consider using military means – if need be – to stop Iran from obtaining these weapons.
Would Israel have the capability to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons without entering into a war that would guarantee their own demise? Or, at least, a protracted war that would bring massive damage against their own country?
This is a task that even the U.S.A. says would be very difficult.
So could Israel do it?

I have put one of these rifles on layaway and I am wondering what is your opinion about the Century Arms Galil rifle, a semi-auto clone of the IMI (Israel Military Industries) Galil rifle used in Israel. I have checked a lot of online forums, gun enthusiast chat rooms, and all I have heard is good things about it. What is your opinion about it and have your fired one, and is it really accurate? Thanks for sharing your answers.

like sniper rifles, fighter planes, helecopters, bulldozers, tanks, ect and use them to kill Palestinians everyday and then if the Palestinians get a few rockets that haven’t killed anyone the Israelis start crying "terrorist" and say that its illegal? If 10 Palestinians are killed for every 1 Israel killed how can Israel be the victim? And why do all the Israelis talk about the Palestinians putting down their weapons? Since the Israelis are the ones with the weapons who keep murdering people why don’t they put the weapons down?
I’m not sure YOU understand the situation. Palestinians have been fighting for independence for a while now, and the Israelis don’t want to stop fighting until Palestinians are all dead. I suggest you read some stories on it and start listening to Al Jazeera.
Please turn off FOX news and get some real information on the situation.
The above is to Addicted to snow
Samy- I respect your answer but the name os the president of the USA is spelled "BUSH" I really never imagined that someone could spell that so very wrong.
Rivivia- Yes you are right the Israelis have military equiptment because they want to kill lots of people, Im glad youre finally comming to you senses LOL

I converted to Judaism so I know how terrible Israel is. They canceled my conversion because they claimed I wasn’t religious enough, while racially pure Jews aren’t required to be religious at all. What do you people who are in the military think about your government’s support for a country that oppresses innocent people. I know that Americans don’t support genocide and racism in their values, so I’m curious to know how you feel that your military and military weapons are used to oppress the Palestinians.
