The only hope Israel has of stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons and using them on Israel is military action.
The problem is that the Israeli military is probably not big enough to get the job done.

Alot of people say he was discharged from the military. But what was the REAL REASON he was Dishonorably Discharged? I remember seeing a video of him trying to buy a gun and he said, "This will get the job done" and the clerk didn’t sell it to him.

I’ve been thinking about joining the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) for about a year or two. I’ve been asking myself the same question over and over again in reagrds to what i want to do for a job. I want to do art but it seems like I may be better with a pencil and a gun than with a pencil and a computer.

Is it me or is it just incredible the amount of technology the US has..
We have jets that can out fly anti aircraft missiles, we have aircraft carriers that are longer than the empire state building is tall and can carry out an entire assault by itself, we have missiles that can take off in the Arctic ocean from a submarine, and pinpoint a target thousands of miles away, we have artillery that can be fired from mile behind the front lines and accurately eliminate the enemy…..
And the best part is, we have men and women ready to fight until the death to help protect their country…..
I must say, aside from all the Liberals who would rather see our military disbanded and re-direct the money to the homeless in some foreign country that will most likely attack us, We live in a great country…
I am proud to be an American, Happy Memorial DAY all you vets out there and all those that have served, war or not…
YOU ARE A BRAVE! Have a Great day monday!
18,000 die annual of health care issues, gee and i though Mr Clinton made sure that when he sold those plots in Arlington to the Chinese he took care of that problem….no wait..maybe i should support the guy on the street corner begging drinking a 40 ounce not paying taxes on his earned income…I’ll just go back to my 60 hour a week job..thanks..

I know its not likely to happen given their bond..
but North Korea spends more money on their military than any other country (as a percentage) 85% of their economy is spent on their weapons and military.
They have more than 2 million soldiers which is close to what China has. Furthermore… their stupid corrupt leader has done an A+++ job in brainwashing all of his people.
So most likely they will suicide themselves for the sake of appeasing the great leader. Sort of like Jim Jones cult..

Hold a rifle, shoot a tazer, wield a batton, spray mace seems to give them the moral high ground to profess they’re upholding our freedoms and maintaining the law, when apparently we’re the loafers here, milking it and being unappreciative of all their endeavors.
So its not just a job for them that pays pretty well is it, its something more, and above what we other mortals do for a job that supports society too.
To get respect round here, lets go kill people is what it takes?

Thank God for gun control still providing unarmed targets for the slaughter. This latest mall shooting is proof control fails all people. 50 years ago this would not have been so bad. Most adults would have been armed and able to stop any such event from becoming a mass murder. Proof is in the pudding. Guns don’t kill people, People kill people. If guns were fully legal this would have ended within 2-5 shots at which time only the shooter would have been dead not the 8 plus the shooter that had to die due to a lack of social responsibility to own a firearm and know how to use it. All of our founding fathers were in full support of all people owning and knowing how to use military firearms to protect themselves at all times. Protecting the people is not a job of the police or the government, it is the duty of the people. As the 911 calls prove there was tons of time expire before security or the police responded. Thank you Clinton, Bush and the Patriot Act for failing us all.

hello
i was wondering what the job is called where you make weapons.
im not talking about making those little bb guns, but like military stuff.
like designing nuclear bombs, testing out weapons for warfare, designing high tech rifles, how a bullet would travel using speed/ weight, creating new & improved rockets … etc
the job where you would also need to go to college to study physics/ chemistry/ science
kinda like making/ designing new weapon technology
what is this job called?
any specific type of engineering?
i cant seem to find the right words

In about a week, I will be shooting to qualify for a job. I will be firing the M4 and the M9. I am not as worried about the M9 as I am the M4. How hard is it to pick up the M4 for the first time and shoot decently with it? To the best of my knowledge, it will be the standard M4 that the military uses. I have had some experience in the past firing rifles, just not the M4.

I want a job that would develop like a new plane or a new gun or a new armour or something for the military. What job does this? Would engineering be good for this? What degree is best?
Cheers

What kind of weapons do military officers carry? And if they aren’t issued them, can they carry their own at anytime they want?
Are they allowed to carry it when off base or not deployed? Like in their daily job…

Just now there was a boy asking if he had to have gcses to get a job, or what jobs he could do without gcses; said he was interested in firearms and the military, called himself dumb. He had some rubbish answers. I looked it up for him and now I’ve lost the question! If you see this, you CAN join the armed forces without qualifications, and they train you. That’s always been a feature of their recruitment ads. So for instance the person who said you had to have a driving licence to be a driver in the army is wrong; you can join the army and then get your driving qualification. Look on www.army.mod.uk There’s also some Connexions information sheets on all the armed forces and the police. If you don’t know about Connexions, google it, it might be quite useful.
ATM – oh thanks!!

Seriously people who cares? I am one of the many atheists that carry that very sight on their M4/M16 and guess what? It’s a great optic. It does the job and it does it well. Who cares if the owner of the CIVILIAN company wasted his money by having these verses cast into the sight? This in no way violates the separation clause.
@no1home2: Did you miss the part where I said I carry that exact sight on my assigned weapon? Trust me, it’s there.

I can’t imagine not being able to quit a job you absolutely hate.
Ex: If they put you cleaning and maintaining guns.
It would cause extreme depression, and extreme hate for your life.
If you are in a bad marriage, you can get a divorce – but the military?

Taking into consideration that there have been at least 8 mass shootings in the US in the past month, would you want to restrict guns for only the police and military? I certainly would. If I was close to someone who was depressed, lost their job, or having relationship problems & I knew they had a gun, I would be worried during this time…
I’ll let the community choose the best vote. Its sad that the "law abiding" citizens are the ones with the guns that are going on rampages and killing innocent people.

What is a job military or government that involves guns and pays decent to where I could have some family. Relatively low death rate… relative of course and I believe I am intelligent enough that I could handle myself.
