Just curious. Instead of using a M40 or 50 Cal or something, is it possible to snipe with a bow or a crossbow?
Snipe = sharpshooter
All definitions of sniper don’t have anything about guns.

I am looking for a bolt action rifle chambered in .308 Win. (7.62×51) that has a detachable magazine. Preferably a military spec/style model. I have looked at some of Remington’s military models (700p, M24, M40) but have not been successful in finding a rifle with the detachable box magazine. Answers would be widely appreciated.

My friend says M109 barret, but I think its too big and heavy. It kicks ass, but its not mobile. For a defenceive role, it would own I guess. I thought the M40 seems like a good all arounder, decent round, lite, portable, accurate. Its flaw is a bolt action. What do you all think?
