Old fully stocked military rifle.Looks to be about 6.5 mm (guesstimate) bore. Flip up backsite to 2K meters, fixed front sight.Box magazine with straight bolt handle.Marked "CARL GUSTAFS STADS GEVARSFAKTORI 1915. Ser.# 355680. Sling swivels and cleaning rod.Barrel length is approx. 29".Action looks similar to Mausers I have seen before. Also has crown markings and an idealized letter symbol I can’t make out too good. Please help if you are knowledgable on old (WWI-era) military rifles.I’m guessing it’s Austro-Hungarian.

In your opinion what would you like to see in a new military rifle for troops?
Would you like it to be a bull-pup design or not?
Please give example of rifles you like and why you pick what design you do?

Personal opinion question… Which is the best military rifle past or present ever made and why? I’ve seen the top ten as recommended by the Military Channel, I just want to know some other opinions out there! Recommendations should be based on longevity, accuracy, costliness, ease of maintenence., etc.
ok I would like to know why you chose that rifle???

Why would you use a 5.56x45mm for a military rifle when a 7.62x51mm has more range and killing power?
