Hey guys,
I live in Panama City and I love going to gun shows and being new to Florida I wanna know where in Florida within limits of where I live would host the biggest gun show. I’m into military surplus style rifles and I’m willing to travel about 2 hrs to a good gun show. I’ve heard tallahasse host pretty good shows. Any input is appreciated.

How would I go about shipping a military surplus rifle from Canada to the U.S., I know people that live in Canada could they ship the rifle to me?

Which military surplus rifle can you mount a scope on the easiest (without drilling the receiver, or doing any permanent modification to it) Also hopefully it would be inexpensive…nothing like 0
+ for a specialized mount or anything…
Thanks!
I do have a scope on my AR-15..you’re absolutely right about military rifles not supporting scopes…still I would like to try it anyway!!

I can’t find any affordable ammo for my AK-47 anymore. There should be all kinds of 7.62x39mm military surplus out there in the world. Why isn’t it being imported into the United States? Ammunition for all firearms is outrageously priced right now if you can even find what you are looking for at all. What the heck is going on? Is everyone just stocking up for the revolution and drying up all the supply or is the Obama Administration already passing laws that are driving up ammo prices and banning importations?

I would like suggestions for a military surplus AND non-military rifles
In order of importance:
1) cost 1K-2K (including fairly good scope/red dot)
2) great accuracy
3) 7.62 x 51 round (or 308)
4) high cap mag
Muchos Gracias!

I’ve read that military surplus 5.56mm NATO ammo may be unsafe in standard bolt action hunting rifles chambered for the .223 Remington cartridge. Any truth to this? I’m checking out a Stevens model 200 for my son but want to shoot surplus and economy ammunition in it. Is there anything to be concerned about such as pressures, cartridge length, bullet weight or bullet seating depth? Will the Stevens shoot milsurp safely and without jamming the rifle?

In the state of Massachusetts, it takes the 7.62x54mmR round the same as the Mosin Nagants. Also is it worth getting one of these rifles?
Well what about the SVD Tigr hunting rifle I heard it was a lot more accurate then the military surplus rilfes.

OK, I really want a cool military surplus rifle. I originally wanted an m1 carbine, but the ammo is way to expensive. I want a good rifle for under 350$ and it should have relatively cheap ammo. it can be bolt action or semi-auto.

i want a rifle for christmas and i cant afford anything over 0. What military surplus that is not hard 2 find is under 0 and is not semi auto. BOLT ACTIONS ONLY!

I am considering purchasing a military surplus enfield rifle. Is it legal to hunt with them in Virginia?
