The Philippines is ranked #31 in the world’s military. When I saw the Philippine SWAT during the hostage crisis in Manila, I was disappointed because of their lack of training and poor equipment. SWAT stands for special weapons and tactics.
The Philippine SWAT had old M-16 rifles, crude uniform and an unorganized strategy. If you ask me, the Philippine SWAT doesn’t prove its name.
Why can’t the Philippines strengthen its military? The Philippines may be a third world country but it needs to have a strong military. I’m talking about replacing those old Vietnam era M-16′s, vintage WWII fighter planes and BDU uniforms.
I know the Philippines is a poor country but it needs to have a strong military. Internal threats like the NPA, Abu Sayyaf, MILF would not exist if they focus on strengthening their military.
In today’s age, it’s not about the size of the military, it’s about the equipment.

I’m thinking of getting a sniper rifle(can anyone recommend one that’s available in the Philippines?) so i can play airsoft with my friends. Most of the time though, well just play in the forest or the streets in the neighborhood. Would I be able to compete with them if im using a sniper rifle?
