Why do sniper rifles suck so much in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2?

August 28th, 2010 by eranio

I get robbed constantly on this game and its pretty ridiculous when I hit a guy clear across the board, he DOESN’T die, then he just taps the stupid "auto-aim" button, hits "fire" once, and I somehow manage to get killed from the same distance and behind cover. How is it that a light machine gun is more accurate & damaging from across the same distance? Seriously, WTF?! I’ve even been killed by a pistol, a frikkin PISTOL after giving away my position after I shot someone with my sniper rifle from the same distance.

I refuse to play this game like the rest of the idiots who run around with grenade launchers because they can’t hit something smaller than a building. Its just no fun.

What is the best sniper rifle in bfbc2?

August 17th, 2010 by eranio

I just got the game and i normally use the m24 to cover my squads advance and spot targets. It works long range but short-mid range i never stand a chance. What’s accurate and also packs a nice punch so my pistol could finish them?

How would one become a marine sharpshooter (Sniper)?

August 14th, 2010 by eranio

I am thinking of going into the marines and the best weapon I can handle would have to be a sniper rifle. Another gun I am familiar with would be the classic rifle and pistol such as a desert eagle. If you could can I have a Marine answer this?

wanting to join military but have juvenile record?

August 4th, 2010 by eranio

I am 19 years old and around a month after I turned 17 (january) I got into a situation that I though the best solution was to steal some something from someone and the items that I took was 3 rifles and 1 pistol, due to this I was arrested after turning myself in. Sent to juvenile facility for a mandatory 21 days and then released under 30 day house arrest and then after going back to court and taking a pley bargain I was sent back to juvy for another 15 days and released under juvenile probation and facing 100 community hours, with some extra agreements, such as obtaining my GED. I completed all the things asked of me a released off of probation that thanksgiving.

I never actually was convicted of the crime to my knowledge but i did agree to confess guilty in court which I did. I was woundering if there was a way to possibly obtain a waiver to join the military considering the circumstances surrounding my charges.

If I’m not mistaken I was charged with something along the lines of burglary while armed of a dwelling and grand larceny? They was going to try to charge me with dealing with stolen merchandise but I didn’t do that and it was removed as a part of the agreement.

If there is a way to obtain the waiver how would I go about doing so?

How can I tell how many gears of war kills I have with the sniper rifle?

July 6th, 2010 by eranio

Besides counting them as I go, of course. Is there a web site where you can check that? The leaderboards on gearsofwar.com dont list how many kills you have with the pistol, sniper, torque, hammer, or boomshot. I’d like to know how close I am to gettin my achievements.

Had the soldiers of Ft. Hood been treated like trained military personnel?

June 30th, 2010 by eranio

and allowed to keep their firearms instead of being treated like recalcitrant 12 year olds and disarmed, how far would Hassan have gotten before dieing of acute rapid puncture disorder?
Mike: I prefer to just carry a pistol, it cuts down on the weight and you never end up as an unarmed victim

Can someone in the military personally own an automatic rifle?

June 28th, 2010 by eranio

I am joining the National Guard, and I am wondering if I can own an m4 or m16?
Are they more likely to approve my license request because I would be military? Also, would there be any kind of discount to the license fee bacause of this?

For anybody in the National Guard: If I did own one, along with my pistol… Could I use it during shooting drills?

May 17th, 2010 by eranio

I want to get a gun that will be a secondary for a sniper. I was thinking either a high powered C02 pistol or a long range machine gun. FPS around 400. Price around -0.

What do you think of older guns?

May 6th, 2010 by eranio

I like older mail order/kitchen door guns and older military guns. I just started getting into single shots and older guns. I know what to look at when buying them and how to check to see if there safe to fire. I had my eyes on a Spanish Imperial in .38 Special after handling it, It had way to much play in cylinder didn’t function in SA sometimes and trigger was way to lose and needed parts that would have had to be custom made. I asked what other handguns they had around 0. He said since he knows I have a thing for old guns I would feel like I was at a history convention. I was soon looking at a counter full of old top break revolvers from yester year in .32 S&W and .38 S&W. Most where Iver Johnson/US Revolvers with a one H&R and one S&W. After a few minutes I had a Iver Johnson third model top break in .38 set a side for my dad to pick up on Saturday. I put my the S&W and H&R and a .32 Iver hammerless on my list. Any ways why do people not have and interest or like these guns? I mean all these new tactical guns the have in the show room but if they know you enough you can go in the back room or corner behind the counter and dig threw military rifles. There are great prices like a unissued MAS 36 for 0 and a K-31 for 5 these took a while to get off the shelf I guess just me and a few collectors are interested in them but these AK and AR style rifles along with the new plastic pistol or anything "tacti-cool" flies off the shelf. They have a basement full of older shotguns and rifles that just gather dust down there. I mean I once seen a guy interested in a Winchester 1200 and was offered a Ted Williams 200 for less but he payed the extra money for a Winchester logo and chipped stock. I mean why not give the attention to these old guns they deserve? I’ll admit most of them are out dated but we wouldn’t be where were at with out them. Most of these were every where and highly advertised. You might say single shot shotguns for example are a dime a dozen. I look like each one of those has a different story and unique in there own way. If those guns could talk about there travels and all they saw I could listen day in and out. I see AR rifles and tacti-cool guns as bland and underneath those thirty pounds of accessories there all the same.

Any way what is your personal view on these older/mail order guns? I’m pretty interested to the answers here.

What is currently the standard issue sidearm (secondary weapon/pistol) of the US military forces?

May 3rd, 2010 by eranio

I thought it was the Beretta M9, but i came across an article that stated 2 years ago the US military began researching into a new pistol of the .45 caliber. The bigger caliber for more power. I am not sure, if they ever changed to a different gun, so if anyone knows for certain, let me know. Thanks in advanced.

What kind of airsoft gun should i get? A pump rifle(not sniper) or a shotgun?

April 11th, 2010 by eranio

The pump rifle is not a sniper rifle, it is a normal rifle, but you have to pump it before each shot.
The shotgun is you basic shotgun, made by smith and wesson.
They both come with a pistol.

Do rappers get arrested for admitting crimes in songs?

February 28th, 2010 by eranio

Some rappers on probation rap about selling drugs, killing people, and having guns, aren’t they admitting guilt?
Also;
My friend goes around lying to girls that he buys illegal military assault rifles and sells drugs- blah blah blah, but in reality he is a wuss and has never even shot a pistol, can’t he be arrested for "admitting" these things?
I don’t get it.

Does anyone know the regulations or laws regarding personal firearms??

February 12th, 2010 by eranio

I need to know the regulations that govern the company level commander’s discretion on issuing orders to a soldier who owns a firearm off of and away from military installations to have that firearm placed in the custody of the arms room. I currently own a firearm (pistol) and i do not bring it onto military installations nor do i keep it in military housing. The firearm is stored off post at a civilian housing complex with my buddy. This is because the commander refuses to approve the on post registration form, so i keep it at a friends house off post so that i am following the regulation. Now i have been instructed to have it placed in the arms room and that i will not have access to it at all. This does not seem fair. I feel like i am having the firearm stolen from me. He believes that soldiers have no business owning firearms and he will not approve anyone to have one. Does anybody know anything about the legality of this issue??

How come the Military can’t beat the insurgents who are equipped with flintstone era weapons?

February 5th, 2010 by eranio

Can you believe this? The United States is the most powerful nation on earth but can’t whip an insurgency who has basic weapons. We have every weapon known to man and all they have is a rifle, Pistol, or a basic bomb that any high school kid can make but they are putting the hurt on the USA. How embarassing. Don’t you agree the USA should hang their heads in abject shame?
