A hunting rifle mounted with a scope is fully as powerful as a sniper rifle, fully as accurate, and with off the shelf ammo just a capable of penetrating body armor at long range. What then is the difference between a hunting rifle and a sniper rifle? To me, they are one and the same.
Of course, we all know that a hunting rifle with a max effective range of 500 yards is far less more dangerous than an "oh my god, it has a bayonet assault rifle" with a max effective range of 200 yards.
In everyones opinion, what is the best sniper rifle… I mean, I am trying to figure out what it is ! I have used all of them, and I dont really look for how far they shoot or the accuracy, I just want one with the attachments, to shoot and kill quickly…. I want my enemy to die fast ! haha so what sniper rifle should I use ? I will use bling, and I am pretty good with the thermal scope, so what would the other attachment be ? LMK !

Also, I don’t want to have to change anything on the rifle. I want the rifle with best performance out of the box, aside from sighting in the scope.

I have an airsoft sniper rifle (UTG M324S Master Sniper) and I’m looking to upgrade it some more. Does anyone know how I can increase the FPS to 500? I’m also looking for a nice scope that has illuminated crosshairs for night playing. Any suggestions will help. Thanks =)

There are these two airsoft sniper rifles I have been looking at on speedytoys.com. One of them has a higher fps but the other one says it includes a real working scope. What do they mean by "Real working scope" how is it different from a regular airsoft scope. If you have a airsoft scope please tell what it is like and how it functions.

I’ve already got an AK, and an SKS. (Do you think my Yugo SKS might make a decent sniper rifle?) Now I don’t need a Barrett, but I’d like to get into something with a little more range, like a 7.62×54R, a 30-06, 303 british or maybe a 308. What are the best military-ish guns for long range accuracy?
The reason I mentioned 7.62×54 is because I alreay have a Mosin Nagant M91/30, but it’s beautiful, and still in full military dress, so I’m afraid of ruining if I tried to scope it. Also I have an older version of a 91/30 witch has a hex reciever and a wierd rear sight. I believe its called a Dragoon.

My friend likes to collect old stuff from WWII. He goes from garage sale to garage sale looking for old rations, guns, and equipment. He recently picked up a Springfield ‘03 sniper rifle with documents, scope, used original targets, and pictures of the original owner using it in the field. He bought it for 70$, with all that extra stuff. He wants to know the value.
I’ve been looking into buying an Airsoft gas sniper rifle for shooting people with. Looks aren’t an issue for me, and of course I want it to be durable, accurate, and 0.00 or under. I’ve tried a lot of sniper rifles before, and they either seem to wear out easily or just aren’t even accurate enough to look through the scope and plan on shooting anything around the crosshair. So, please, give me something worth buying. Thanks.
Even if you put a scope on a rifle, it doesn’t necessiaraly make it a sniper rifle, and most of the time they don’t even have scopes!

ok in cod4 my favorite thing to do is snipe. and i am pretty sure in cod5 they will have sniper rifles. but will they have a scope? I’m not a history buff but I’m pretty sure that they didn’t have scopes like they do now. so my main question is will the sniper rifles have scopes?

I am a n00b at airsoft and am thinking about getting the BC SM6 sniper rifle, however i do not know how accurately i could shoot with it and at what distances. Or if anyone could suggest better rifles for a similar price (-) i would be more than willing to look at the guns.
Also how does a QAE scope work? i am curious.
