How should i fix this?

March 11th, 2011 by eranio

this is only a ROUGH draft. i know it needs a lot of help. does anyone have any good ideas on how to help me?
What is a strength of America? Everyone has their options on what they think is a strength or a weakness. In my point of view the military is one of the biggest strengths America has.
The military has been around for a tremendously long time. Before 1972 conscription (also known as drafting) was used during war and during the peace. After 1972 the military is made up of volunteers willing to fight for there country. All these volunteers make the American military one of the largest militaries in the world.
First, the military has the best technology. This includes all the firearms, artillery, ammunition, armor, ground vehicles, aircraft, robots, and communications. All these technologies make it easier, and safer for the volunteers fighting in the war to come back home safely. Second, the training for a military the size we have is superior. The service members are physically, technically and psychologically trained. Depending on which branch of the military the service member may have to go on for more training. Third, after a member of the military retires from the military this person can now go the college for free, they also now have health benefits. Our military is one of the best taken care of on and off the military bass.
Serving in the military is no longer a drafting thing its pure voluntary. Many of families have lost loved ones, but its nothing to grief over. Its an honorary dead. Think of all the men and women risking their lives to keep America free and safe.

Will an active duty service member have an easier time attaining a NYC firearms license than a civilian?

January 21st, 2011 by eranio

I have already done as much background research as I think I possibly could regarding owning firearms in New York City. I know the NYC firearms laws, the New York state firearms laws, federal firearms laws, and firearms laws of other states and locals. What I’m interested in is personal experience from service members regarding their applications for firearms licenses, not so much permits, in New York City. I’m aware that private security contractors, personal security details, and people doing legitimate and legal business, such as carrying large sums of money or valuables, can get firearms licenses and carry permits, but what about active duty military personnel?

Are other branches of the U.S. Military going to be using the SCAR rifle anytime soon?

October 16th, 2010 by eranio

So far from what I know, is that Army Rangers are the only force to be using this new rifle (Replacement to M4/M16). I could be wrong, I’m just going on what I heard and read about in articles. I was wondering if any other service members have been using it such as regular infantry (Marines or Army) or any other spec ops like PJ’s, SEALs or Force Recon.

And I would also like to know when you think it will be a standard issued weapon to regular service members besides special operation units.

DOD won't allow soldiers to carry guns on base, so if there's a shooter again, they say to defend with 3 ring?

October 7th, 2010 by eranio

notebooks, staplers, throw shoes, etc.

IF WE TRUST SOLDIERS IN WAR WHY NOT ALLOW THEM TO BRING SIDE ARMS ON BASE?

Hood jihad2

We are being betrayed by our "betters."

Attached is the Official Tyndall AFB Plan called "How to Survive an Active Shooter." This is in response to the Fort Hood jihadi’s wholesale slaughter of US soldiers, the largest attack on a US army base in American history. This report/response is a pathetic and embarrassing surrender to barbarians. Read it and weep.

As you know, service members are not allowed to carry firearms on base. So what is the remedy? Our precious servicemen and women are instructed to dial 911 while playing dead (p. 18), and to attack the shooter with a three-ring binder or paper cutter (p. 19). Think I am kidding? Read the report — Download Military

When did American life become cheap? When did appeasing savages and a radically intolerant ideology trump protecting and defending American lives and the US Constitution?

Hood jihad

"It is important to remember there is no "standard" for random shooting events and no profile of the shooters"

How could any rational thinking person stand behind such a statement? The Fort Hood shooting was jihad. Proud jihad. Unabashed jihad.

Instead of reversing the ridiculous restriction on our military from carrying firearms on our bases, our servicemen and women are advised to make use of three ring binders …………. or any other "makeshift weapon."

Why do troops get killed when the USA military has the most advanced weapons?

February 5th, 2010 by eranio

KABUL – A roadside bomb killed two U.S. service members in southern Afghanistan on Saturday as the country’s top NATO commander acknowledged an increased risk to foreign troops will accompany an influx of reinforcements aimed at routing the Taliban.

Does the US make most of their military weapons?

November 6th, 2009 by eranio

Also How much does Canada help the US with their service members and/or weapons? I have a Canadian friend who likes to say Canada;s military is better, and he tries to back it up with facts, but they all seem to be pulled out of his ass. I have nothing against Canadians or the US just want to know how much the Canadians contribute to the US and possibly how much we contribute to their military.
