just curious, could a 50 cal sniper rifle really rip a foot wide hole in someone or is that some myth? my brother keeps claiming how powerful a 50 cal sniper rifle is and says it could rip someone’s head off if they were even shot in the neck. I just want some truth to everything he is saying.

oneday, my l96 awp airsoft sniper rifle from airsplat.com broke. i was shooting normally when one time the bolt wouldnt stay back anymore. i pull it back and let go and it shoots forward as if the thing holding it back doesnt exist.

money really isnt a problem im willing to pay a good price for a good airsoft gun i just dont know if i should get an assault rifle or a sniper rifle im not really doing anything but shooting cans and fooling around with friends so i so i dont know what to get please help

I am just starting out in airsoft and some people will say that don’t start with a sniper rifle. My dad said the same thing. My dad says that I should just get a regular pistol to start off. And I will do that however when I do get a sniper rifle which one should I buy? I want to keep it under 0 if possible, and under 400 fps because most places don’t let them be more powerful with a .2 g BB.

I was playing with that and saw police cars were going around my apartment, which was not used to be.

Hello, Now call me paronoid if you want, but i’m planning on stocking up for the apocolypse if it does come, now since i’m not religious I’ll have no remorse or mercy when it comes to killing other survivors of 2012, and raiding their supplies, (I don’t really belive in 2012, but something oneday will happen, be it zombies, mutants, war)

and I’m looking for a nice firearm, I do have experience with heavier calibre firearms as well as carbine, The highest i’ve fired was a military grade m107a4 .50 sniper rifle at my uncle’s cabin, I don’t own too many weapons and my credit is good so I’m sure I can get my restricted firearms liscence.

Anyways, I’m thinking of a ruger 77, because it’s accurate and extremely reliable, But then i though of the whole clip deal, reloading a clip is a pain in the ass, especially when you’re defending yourself, so I was thinking about a shotgun, like the spas 12 or my old m300

but since i’m considered a marksman due to all my badges in cadets firing range, I’m thinking maybe a steyr aug due to it’s overall accuracy and compatibility, however .223 shells aren’t easy to obtain.
Or maybe just a semi automatic .22 hunting rifle, that”ll kill any human or mutant that decides to raid my territory, I’d like to see your reccomendations

I once read that the US Army was going to replace their current sniper rifle with a new semi-automatic rifle, the M110 SASS, or semi-automatic sniper system. This change was going to supposedly take place in February 2010, but the goarmy.com website says they still use the standard M24 rifle. Can someone please clarify this for me.

Ok so I got the game the first day it came out, and unlocked the sniper rifle, my favorite weapon in any video game. However, I am REALLY HATING it so far because when you zoom in for the shot its motion sensitive to your controller, and it’s SO ANNOYING, is there any way to shut this off??
