I notice that from all the military shows I watch that every sniper has something different. I often see the Barrett .50 but that gun isn’t ideal for mobility. I also see the Remington 700 used as well. This gets me confused so I was just wondering if the US military’s sniper rifles are standard or does the military choose for them?

I am going to buy a few air-soft guns. I am going to get a gas powered assault rifle, because they don’t look as cheap made and i hear they are better then the spring versions. Its almost if the gas versions list way higher fps and range then the spring versions, don’t they? And i am also looking at the sniper rifles, they are not that different considering the price differences are. I also want to know if gas powered snipers are "that" much better then spring powered snipers. Here are the links

I am wondering what would be a good position for me. I want to be a person who makes and plants explosives (C4, grenades, bombs, bazooka’s) I would also like to be a person who hacks into enemy computers and gets important information. I would also like to be a person who takes out enemys from a distance, sort of like snipers do but i do’t like sniper rifles (is there anything similiar to a sniper?) Please answer.
If all of these require seperate jobs, then i guess i want all of them.

I’ve been watching some no scope / quick scope montages on youtube. And everyone uses the M40A3 + ACOG scope, since it adds 5 attack.
But I need to ask, one guy was choosing his classes and went through all of them
They were ALL sniper rifles
Except for a change in the 1st perk, and the 3rd perk was always steady aim or extreme conditioning.
Why do people do that? and when exactly do they change classes.

Im gonna get a air soft gun soon and wondering about sniper rifles. I used real sniper rifles and air soft ones and was pretty good. I want one that is under 400 but 400 is fine but not over it. Preferbally i would like it to be Electric and at least semi automatic, but am open to maybe getting a bolt action or a gas sniper. I do not want to spend over 230 dollars.

I’m looking at Airsost Sniper Rifles on Airsplat.com. I want to get an Airsoft Sniper quickly but I need money to pay it off. And no I wont donate plasma or rob it. I heard what you people say on the other questions when they are trying to get money. Anyways, its 59.95 plus 0.02 pellets thats 3.95 so whats a good quick easy way to earn money people?

If new buyers are looking for .300 win mag rifles, looks like now’s the time to buy. Surplus .300, anyone? Will that happen? I think it would be pretty nice to get 7 dollars a box on this usually expensive ammunition.

I see pictures all the time of some Army infantrymen with M203′s, on either the M-16′s or M4A1′s.
Then you have the old M-14 I see once in a while.
Then various versions of Colt-like sniper rifles.
Do you have to be "sniper" qualified to be issued a sniper rifle? What about an M203 attachment? And how would you know weather or not you will be issued an M4 over an M-16?
You know the saying "This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine……", well, does it vary per branch, or do you always get re-issued your rifle you first laid hands on since in basic every time until get meet a certain criteria or something?
Also, for the accessories, some are issued to soldiers with scopes, lights, lasers, 4-grips, the list goes on. Is it just a random choice of the weapon holders on base (or whatever they are called) that give an issued rifle to a soldier? And, do you always get your EXACT same issued rifle back to you when you report for duty? Or does the gun-cage just hand you the same type but not the same exact gun(s) and or/sidearms every time you report for Duty?
I am mainly asking about the US Army above all other branches. I am very confused about how that all works. I know if you are a Ranger or are in Spec. Ops you would have specific loadouts for the hightened tactical sense to it. Like the rold\e of a Sniper, would need to be issued a sniper every time he has to report for duty.
1 more question, if someone got the Marksman award in basic training in the Army, would that grant them certain weaponry? Or just a plain M4 with no sights or anything on it like every new recruit? And if getting Marksman in basic, and with added Airborne school, after 11X training would you have a better chance of making the 11B (Infantry) or would that have no influence of what the Army chooses yoyr MOS to be? Shouldn’t be it the SLOWER GRADUATES that go to 11C not mix-match them?
And I am ashamed the M9 is the standard issued sidearm. Why can’t we have Glocks or Colt 1911′s?? Seriously, even for basic infantry, they should move on from those lame M9′s.

I have been wanting to get a new airsoft sniper rifle ever since my old mb02 broke. i have looked at some guns on airsoft gi and i cant decide between a utg mk96 (l96) or the A&K Dragunov. i do have a scope so i just want your opinions on what gun you would get. if you happen to know of even better sniper rifles for a reasonable price please add a link

What is the most common type of bullet anti personnel sniper rifles use? Also what are the various types of rounds which are most common amongst snipers? I know anti-material snipers use 50 calibre rounds but I am clueless about anti-personnel rounds.

The FFL are quite known for using the FAMAS rifle. If there is the slightest possibility that the FFL has snipers, is it also unheard of for FFL snipers to be using sniper rifles that are not standard-issue by their regiments like Barretts, CheyTacs, SVDs, etc.?

Hi im from New York City and i know my city has very large restrictions to gun-holders ; Mostly because of gang and criminal crimes and violence . Now im not trying to buy a light machine gun such as (M249 SAW ). Im looking to purchase things such as sub machine guns , handguns sniper rifles , assault rifles to collect such as ( MAC-10 , Dragunov SUV , UZI , M1911, Knight Hawk) can they be sold to civilians with proper licensing or are they illegal .
oh and yes it would be good to add i have no criminal record , i am clean paperwise .

I’m talking about the real snipers who crawl and walk for days, and then wait for the target for days. I may be exaggerating on how long it takes them. Sometimes it’s short, and sometimes the mission is long. If I can’t be a sniper like that as an enlisted soldier. Then what marksman jobs are there. I think there are snipers, and marksman that use sniper rifles.

I own a few gas air soft sniper rifles and I was wondering how much does a gas air soft sniper, on average, vary in FPS from lets say 110 degrees Farenheit to around 0 degrees Farenheit (I play in many places and where I live the weather changes constantly). Thank you in advance and can you please state the FPS variations for both red gas and propane.
