Yes, I agree, please clarify, as "rifle" is a pretty inclusive category.
Even within the category of ".22 caliber hunting rifles" there is quite a lot of variation.

The M-16 A1 or A2 fires a 5.56 round
M-60 fires a 7.72 round
civilian rifles range from .22 cal to 50 cal mussle loaders
