i was wondering what the title of anyone that did weapons delevelopment in the military would be..iam mainly intersted in firearms. do u know if every branch has there own program or is it all focused in one?

The U.S. military doesn’t make or design major weapon systems. That’s done by contractors and its the DOD that puts in the request and congress must fund the R&D. Try a company such as Colt. It’s a very long drawn out process when there is no major demand for change. Such vehicals as the RINO was put on the fast track because of IEDs.
