What are five things you would do first if you were elected President?

I’ll go first:
1)Put major restrictions on people on Wall Street using public funds
2)Ramp up deportations of illegal immigrants. I’d demand that "sanctuary cities" comply. If they didn’t I’d bring in the military.
3)Get out of Iraq the day I was elected
4)Put major tariffs on China until they stop fixing their currency.
5)Get rid of the federally mandatory criminal background check for licensed gun dealers. Get rid of the heavy regulation of fully automatic rifles.

1) reverse any health care reform that will take place in the next year
2) Send more troops to secure the middle east faster so we can get them home sooner.
3) Do what I can to abolish the Electoral college.
4) Make a declaration acknowledging the Armenian Genocide of the 1920′s and request sanctions on Turkey.
5) Abolish all paid and professional lobby firms.

Deport illegals, secure our border, fire Pelosi, make a plan to fix the economy and put people back to work, make welfare recipients take drug tests and allow them to be on it no more than a year with documentation showing they are searching for work every month, abolish affirmative action (yup, the parts for women too).

1. Freeze all stimulus payouts.
2. Rework every trade deal on the books.
3. Pull all troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan.
4. Push hard for a National vote on setting term limits in Congress.
5. Set up immediate incentives for small businesses and investors.

1) plan on closing Guantanamo Bay
2) attempt to make amends with the muslim world – show them we can work with them to imporve their lives, not just invade and bomb.
3) Work on a long term plan to appropriately regulate wall street
4) Get congress to fix health care
5) And reduce the deficit by encouraging economic growth and allowing the top tax rate NOT to top out at $375K per year, but to tax people more who also make millions. Increase capital gains taxes for individuals, too.
Looks like Obama has already done 1-4. Dont think he’ll have the political will to do 5.

1. Revise all military strategy. No more nation building. No more restrictive rules of engagement. Remove Executive order 11905
2. Tell Israel that I do not oppose any and all actions they deem necessary to prevent Iran to getting a nuclear weapon
3. Arrest all individuals who have contravened title 8, section 1325 of the United States Immigration code and make undocumented immigrant status a class A felony
4. Shutter the UN in NYC and resign our membership
5. Enact legislation that all entitlement programs must submit to audit every year and double the budget of all agents who safeguard public assistance funds

1) Declare a state of general emergency so I would have war powers.
2) Pass a simple and comprehensive universal health care bill, abolish the fed, and rescind 90% of the taxpayer bailouts that have been given to the failing banks.
3) Redistribute the funds taken from the bailout in the form of payment cheques for every american citizen (to get them back on my side after instituting all the ‘socialist’ reforms noted above).
4) Put a permanent muzzle on Fox news– reason: threat to domestic national security; could be enacted under Patriot Act.
5) Provide funding to factories and armed services to train new Americans and build more military equipment to decisively, once and for all, wipe the Afghani and Pakistani jihadists off the face of the map, thereby liberating the oppressed women and free thinkers of the Middle East from the tyranny of fascist Islam. (because the outcome of such a serious and protracted military endeavour is unpredictable, the universal health care is an almost certain necessity).

1.) kick out all the socialists.
2.) Start listening to the people of THIS country.
3.) Throw all the lobbyists out of Washington.
4.) keep a close watch on the pork,see that it’s equally distributed to each state.
5.) prosecute any politician caught in any corruption scam .
6.) start recognizing the constitution,instead of personal agendas.
7.) Straighten the judges out!no more running the country from the courts.
8.) a government of the people,by the people and for the people,period!

The President doesn’t work in a vacuum. Looking at your list number 1, 4, and 5 wouldn’t be in your power to do alone. You would need congress behind you to pull those off. Number 3 you could do as a president but practically it’s impossible. You could start the process and establish a time table but it would take months to get our people and equipment out of Iraq. Number 2 you could do halfway. You could order the INS and other agencies to crack down on illegal immigrants but establishing martial law in a US city would be another matter. Congress would have to sign off on that or you would be impeached and arrested.
The president has direct authority over just about every federal agency but the president cannot pass or change laws on his own and he cannot use the military in any significant strength without congress approving. As far as using the military on a US city, unless that city was in the midst of a disaster or under a military attack he would have to get congress on board.

5 Lower taxes/ stop redistributing entrepreneur’s wealth. (there should be some reward for creating jobs in our country)

Eliminate the 16th amendment
Eliminate the federal reserve act
Eliminate IRS

Empower my generals to eliminate foreign military bases and direct all resources to border inspection, missile defense, and space exploration/star wars defense.

1. i’d institute an immediate investigation into every sitting member of both Houses of Congress, looking for bribery, corruption, deals, influence peddling, high crimes & treason, infidelity, failure to uphold the Oath of Service.
2. i’d begin construction on a Berlin-type wall across the Mexican/American border.
3. i’d immediately rescind all apologies Obama gave around the world and instead, apologize to our allies for his ill treatment of them and tell our enemies to pound sand.
4. i’d round up hundreds of experienced active and retired espionage operatives and ask them to tell me what is needed to secure our homeland, and then do it.
5. i’d round up the same for the military.

I thank the bright stars that you aren’t the President. If I was the President, I’d make sure that everyone would have to get a head check. And the ‘special’ people would have an island all to themselves. I’m sure that the sane people wouldn’t have a problem chipping in for the island. As it would make the country a better place all around.

1. I would take our troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

1. I would like to apply the adage during my presidency: "Easier said than done".
2. I would like to make Cuba an ally of the United States (or something)
3. I’d endorse eating vegetables to promote the advantages on living a healthy lifestyle and
how it sucks to be a Vegan.. (no offense if you are one)

Actually most of the things people have listed are not in the power of the president to do. They are done by the Senate and House. The president only has the ability to sign or not sign their legislation and if he doesn’t sign it can be passed over his veto anyway.
As for your list….1) yes you could put restriction on the use of public funds. 2) You could not bring in the military. That is illegal. You could however withhold government funds used by cities for various projects. 4) yes you could pull the military out of Iraq. 5) It would take an act of congress to change the regulations for gun dealers and owning fully automatic rifles.
