I was wanting to know some upgrades or modifications that can be done to improve accuracy and range for any sniper rifle. The person with the most gets best answer. They can be anything from homemade to store bought.

More accuracy will come from a combination of:
- A longer barrel
- Tighter barrel (can go as low as 6.01mm if you use good enough ammo and keep it clean.)
- A more stable barrel. Often the muzzle end of the inner barrel isn’t very well supported inside the outer barrel. Wrap a little teflon tape around the end of the inner barrel before inserting it. You want to get as snug a fit as possible without interfering with the fit.
- Reliable hopup – it stays where you set it.
- Upgraded hopup (V-nub for bolt action, H-nub for AEG’s and a high quality silicone rubber)
- Correct ammo choice. Heavier ammo is best for snipers providing they’re powerful enough. 0.28g is good in a gun firing 380-420fps (with 0.2g) which is about the minimum for a sniper rifle.
- Quality optics. Avoid super cheap scopes. You don’t need anything more than 4x magnification, but you need something which can be reliable zereoed and which will stay that way.
- Cleanliness. A dirty inner barrel will lead to a more erratic round. Clean it before games and try to avoid getting dirt into it. Dirty ammo will do the same. Don’t re-use ammo (it’s tempting with more expensive, heavy ammo) and try and keep loaded mags in places where they will be least exposed to dirt and muck (difficult during an airsoft game while crawling about, but do your best).

Most anything homemade wont improve accuracy, or range on anything.
For accuracy you can:
Buy a tight bore barrel (I recommend 6.03 as the smallest to go)
Buy a more powerful scope. the more powerful, the more magnification, the more accurate.
For range:
Upgrade springs (most spring upgrades require a piston, & trigger upgrade as well)

longer metal barrel- most airsofts actual barrel length is shorter than the plastic barrel length, especially the cheap lower-end ones.
higher battery voltage- for AEG snipers this can A> make gun more powerful. Or B> break the motor.
Homemade airsoft bullets- increases the accuracy, but very tedious to make the homemade bullets. A regular BB is a ball, like a musket ball with low accuracy and range. By going with a more cylindrical shape you can increase the range and accuracy some. Use a even more advanced spitzer bullet further increase accuracy. Requires ability to modify a manual action airsoft rifle to accept the longer bullets, ability to manufacture wax or thermoplastic bullets.
Better scope- it wouldn’t really help unless you’re trying to shoot at least 150 feet with the bullets mentioned above. For that, you can upgrade to a cheap 3-9×32 or 40mm scope with medium height weaver mount rings. With a decent scope you can see where your round went, adjust for next shot and also better handle windage and bullet drop. Basically, at 3x power you can shoot much further than normal by aiming up to compensate bullet drop.
Better air cylinder. All non gas-operated airsoft guns uses a air chamber or cylinder in the gun, which either you pull back in case of a spring gun or a motor pulls back in the case of a AEG gun. You can increase the capacity wit ha larger cylinder.
Run on compressed air or gas- 100% full modification, take an existing spring or electric system, dispose and build a system inside to take compressed O2, CO2, or some other propellant. To save work, you can use another gas-operated airsoft gun’s mechanism and just redo the pipes.

these will improve your accuracy and range easily by a lot. get a 6.01 or 6.03 tightbore barrel. i advise a 6.03 as 6.01 will make anything as much as a grain of sand jam your gun. and get some 0.28 or heavier bbs for range and accuracy and a 120% spring. this is all you need.
