What assault rifle is the most accurate in the world? What’s it’s Effective range?
Also what’s the most accurate production assault rifle? What’s it’s effective range or if it’s meant for up close (Being reasonable like 200 meters or so) how close would it be to a bulls eye. When shot at whatever range that makes it the "most accurate assault rifle"?

Assault rifles are not very accurate after the first projectile leaves the barrel in a 3 to 5 shot burst.
Typically the projectiles begin producing a climbing pattern from lower left to upper right, dependent upon the rifling twist.
Also Assault rifles require the possession of a class III license to own.
These fully automatic rifles aren’t really hand made, they are all production rifles.
And at two hundred meters you would be lucky to hit the bullseye with the first shot. You would be better off looking into a semi-automatic rifle or a bolt gun.

Standard-grade military-spec assault rifles out-of-the-box are not very accurate. The most accurate rifles which are on an assault rifle an platform are going to be something like the Les Baer Custom AR rifles-guaranteed to shoot .5" or less 10-shot groups at 100 yards. Effective range is 5-600 yards.

I just asked my daddy who is a weapons expert and retired federal agent.
He said the best modern military assault rifle in the world right now in current use is the Swiss Sig 550 a.k.a. the Sturmgewehre 90.

It would have to be between the HK PSG1 or the Springfield M1A1. Both are in 7.62 x 51(.308) and can engage targets beyond 1000 meters. I would favor the M1A1 though.

An "assault rifle" by definition is fully automatic or selective fire so I don’t think you really mean assault rifle but military style semi auto with large capacity detachable magazine.
The H&K PSG1 is pretty high on the list of accurate rifles.

The Barrett 50 caliber is also a great rifle for a real long shot.

Everybody who answered the M-16… is right. By definition an assault rifle fires an intermediate power cartridge. The 7.62×51 or .308 Win is a full power cartridge and therefore rifles that chamber it are by definition are not assault rifles. The accuracy of the M-16 blows away the AK-47 and many other rifles and as we have seen with just a little tweaking produces groups that easily rival many bolt action rifles.
